I keep getting the message:
Your photo didn't come though
Please check your connection and try again.
Is this because they are getting so many requests maybe?1 -
Any idea what date the monthly interest is paid? A month from the day you open it or the last day of the month?
Just states…You’ll earn 1.5% AER (1.49% gross) variable interest daily, and we’ll pay it monthly.

Just called Chase support to check why I could not download app as device not compatible message received. I was told most Motorola phones are NON compatible. Ones that were are iphones and Samsung. If anyone is going to buy a phone simply for this account you can ring Chase support and they will tell you if phone will be OK.Cheers!!!3

'We'll pay interest at a rate of 1.50% AER/1.49% Gross (Variable) per annum. Interest is paid on the first calendar day of the month and is calculated on a daily basis.'SickGroove said:Any idea what date the monthly interest is paid? A month from the day you open it or the last day of the month?

Not liking the security on this account for protecting a significant savings deposit.
Generally with savings accounts it's good to know that money can only be withdrawn to a single linked account at another institution. Obviously with the current account here, new payees can be set up. Fair enough, so I decided to try adding a new payee to see how much obstacle it would put in my way to doing so. The only hurdle was knowing the passcode ... no texts, no phone calls, no 2FA, no nothing. If someone manages to get/guess the passcode then looks to me like they're free to set up a new payee and waltz off with the balance.

I opened the current and savings account on my phone, but as not a joint account I realise from a tax point of view it would have been better for to open the accounts in my OH name.I could open one on her phone but as I tend to deal with our finances I would like to open her account on my phone.Apparently you cant add two different named accounts on the same phone, I have asked Chase if I delete my account can I open a new one with a different name but not had a reply yet.My worry about closing and deleting my acount they state you can still view statements for 6 months, so they need to delete my profile but not sure if this is possible, has anyone done anything similar?

They would also need physical access to your device and the ability to unlock it. I don't think there any banks whose security cannot be defeated by someone having your unlocked phone in their hands and knowing your app passcode. Perhaps those savings only providers who don't let you change your nominated account online, if you choose a nominated account without online access.dwforum said:Not liking the security on this account for protecting a significant savings deposit.

I won't provide any links but will suggest google is you friend. Disclamer: I haven't done it myself so can't inform you if it works, but if your are feeling brave do come back and let us know how you got on
