Hi all
Been to hospital with DH, the consultant was brilliant he said. It looks like he has a rare auto-immune disorder (possibly triggered by the Covid vaccine) and a separate problem with his hip. He should get test results in the next 2-4 weeks. Called at a couple of shops while we were at the big city but felt no desire to buy anything, which is good because we have to watch the pennies very carefully at the moment in case DH needs more time off.
Called at Mr Ms and used the £10 voucher I got for complaining about appalling service in their cafe. Shopping put away, washing hung out (and snowed on), bit of a tidy around and bed made.
I have a day off work tomorrow and a whole day to myself, which I am so looking forward to. I am tired and being madly busy at the paid stuff is catching up with me a bit. Feet up now and a glass of wine from our Christmas present stores.11 -
Hope that is fairly good news YL.
Put a load of washing on.
It started snowing hear just as I was heading off to uni. Lovely student but very emotional; lots of talk and lots of tears (hers). Got home too late to go to drumming class.
Went to Mr A, must say I was a bit disappointed as stocks seemed low and lacking choice, expected prices to be higher than the other Mr A but not this high. At least they had offers on gf rolls so I bought a load and am now stocked up to take when we go away next week.
It is clearly the week of shocks; heard this evening that the 27yr old son of a friend has died in an accident in France. His parents own the farm where Mr N and I used to keep the horses and they also run a charity sponsoring Indian children through school which we contribute to, so we know them well. A lovely young man. Devastated for them, can't imagine how they must feel. That must surely be my quota for the week/month.....Mr N went to church friend's funeral today while I was at work.
Just written a bit more of a report. Mr N has been flying.
Tomorrow I need to:
- replenish flowers on front door arrangement
- do an arrangement for guest room
- last minute flying
- a bit of a report
- zumba
- help village man load up van heading for Ukraine again
- and our guests arrive for the weekend at about 5pm...........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
YL.. At least he has answers.. this jab is really worrying I honestly feel it is a catastrophe waiting to happen. I know so many people who had terrible reactions and some with long term difficulties, usually nervous or immune system, so many had shingles after it.. I know most people think I am crazy but that's ok. I hope he can get the problem fixed.
Narco.. such a sad loss (((hugs))) It is always so wrong when a young person is lost. I hope his parents find peace and strength in each other xx
Moomin trying to blow up the TD by over filling it.. and my kitchen is full of washing but the pots are vaguely under control
Pixie off tomorrow and I'm really not sure what exciting things I have in store..
