How desperately sad, Narco. That sounds really horrible, YL. No wonder Mr YL has been feeling grim. I hope his situation improves.Get well soon, Valli. I hope both you and I sail through this, feeling no worse than a winter cold. So far so good here.Flying: kitchen sink given a bit of treatment, including the cutlery draining caddy. Very nasty.Better is good enough.8

I think I am sailing through it though the waters have been a bit choppy overnight...and my sinuses HURT. And I'm cold...
That is so sad Narco.

Oh Narco that's so sad, I feel for your poor friends.
Some shelves were empty at Mr Ms too yesterday. And Pigpen the consultant said that they are seeing a massive increase in rare autoimmune diseases and although no-one will ever be able to say for certain that this is the Covid jab, he is fairly sure that it is. DHs symptoms started after his booster, but he also reacted really badly to the first jab. I am just glad he is going to get a diagnosis fairly soon.
Sitting in exercise stuff with dressing gown over the top. I need to do some pilates to work on my flexibility but not very motivated. No idea what the rest of the day brings but I am going to make the most of not needing to work. Snow outside.

Morning ladies
So much sadness and worry around. My brain isn't quite where it normally is, but I have been reading and thinking of you all.
Today I have cleaned the hens out already as it was getting desparate. I am going to enjoy a cuppa soon and take it easy for the rest of the day. We have snow here too.
Hugs to you all xx11 -
Sunny and cold here.1st day of my 100 mile walk.Last night I managed to break the arm off my reading prescription glasses, so they are sort of perched on my nose at an odd angle, so walk today will be to the local opticians (then around the town / seafront to get the miles in ) to get them fixed, while I am there I will book eye test as it has been 2 years in Aug since I last had one, looked online at it says end of May is the 1st one available. !!Booked and paid for fence wood, it will be delivered on Monday, just need to sort out the fencers workforce. ££ASB thinking of you. xxxEveryone else who is having a sad / hard time I am also thinking of you.Wm done out on whirlyFire doneLog in.Managed to chuck the cat's old water over one of the cats, he is not happy with meBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

YL.. There have been some terrible reactions reported. So many cases of shingles being a reactivation of the herpes virus on the nerves.. I knew maybe 4 people who had had shingles previously yet around 10 in the last 6 months. My sister is one of the medical practitioners lawyers and has said the number of reports of serious effects coming through is massive. If there is any chance it has been caused by the jab then it needs reporting under the vaccine yellow card scheme. Reports there have to be included in national data for all medications, I had to report my allergies to various medications, it is just to determine safety and protect others and give accurate advice. I totally recommend reporting any and all side effects, I have had some pretty nasty reactions and am classed as anaphylactic to a couple.. including hayfever medication!! I'm just special!
Speaking of reactions, I used a different shampoo and my head is crazy itchy...
Dot went into school much more sensibly today.. the teacher who was supposed to meet her was off sick so that threw her a bit but she still went in sensibly and willingly and even vaguely on time.. a few minutes late but after the 45 minutes late yesterday I can live with thtat.. and the blue badge has been a godsend.. it is so helpful for getting her in safely.
WM on.. OH asked for permission to turn it on.. do I ask? Do I? no... so please just don't!
Squeak was supposed to have a science lesson at 10am but they were discussing the experiments they have done and making a poster.. so she has gone with OH and Pixie, who is looking so much better today so we decided fresh air would do her good, and they are pokemon hunting.... and buying bread and milk.. Squeak can watch the recording and complete a poster this afternoon.. We are having a serious school discussion this afternoon because these online lessons are rubbish.. primary school stuff... I'm not happy with what we are getting.. I will see if we can drop a couple of classes in favour of a decent tutor I think for core subjects.I received some new to me knitting patterns so once I have finished these 2 Dr Why scarves, turquoise cardy, aran cardy and rainbow blanket I am doing a patchwork blanket with animals on (and some fingerless mitts to match the harry potter hats and scarves I did for christmas).. which will fling some stash but also maybe raise some quids for charity.. I was thinking of donating it as a raffle prize for a local animal charity.. or KIDs who have been so helpful getting Dot the EHCP etc.. ooh.. I need to ring them I think to discuss the ehcp draft and school questions.. the senco said to wait until after easter.. I said that's 3 weeks.. start that ball rolling now.. honestly.. why are they all so obsessed with 'after easter' other than they don't want to do it before.??I have melted puddles of cat in all the sunny spots! Pumpkin however it murdering a loo roll... best get the vacuum out later!cuppa.. DW.. WM.. TD.. hang out big stuff (delegated to OH and Squeak).. check seedlings and baby spiders.. OH can shovel cat trays.. Pixie can vacuum..
I have a magazine to list on ebeast.. it was part of the selection I got and has nothing in I am interested in. Simply Knitting issue 222 if anyone would like it.. save me listing it.. it has easter bits so I am assuming it is a fairly recent on.
cuppa.. and crack on I guess.. so I can get to my knitting.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -

Printed off 2 huge forms which need sorting.. including the school admissions one should Squeak ever make a decision on whether the last school was acceptable or not, I think a big part of it is the distance and I'm not sure she wants to go there at all.
Reloaded DW and WM and TD and hung out more things.. stuff is actually drying out there!!
It may be time for another cuppa and some knitting.

My home office has been blitzed, really pleased with that. I have a small pile of paperwork to sort through and file but that can be done another day. Airer up and 2 loads over it, it keeps coming heavy snow/sleet showers here.
Going to deal with the grubby paintwork on the doors downstairs then DW is to empty and I will work my way through the rest of the house with the hoover. Oh and I must ring up and try to change DSs appointment for hospital on Monday. Better do that next.11 -
