Hugs for everyone struggling for any reason at the moment, including Pigpen and ASB.Thanks for the suggestion Piggers but it was a looooong time ago, the colleague had been the staff counsellor and even she felt that kind of pressure. I think it's just innate in some of us - I must be in trouble for something I don't remember doing. And I've had two jobs since and am now retired so I never have to fear going before the headmistress again thank goodness.I've tested positive which was absolutely inevitable. It feels like a heavy cold, so I hope it doesn't get any worse. Either way I did some stuff around the house this morning and cooked and ate a full on meal. So far so good. Belovéd is taking it gently, which is the most important thing. I've contacted the lovely lady who was due to arrive this weekend and she's going to stay elsewhere this time.Better is good enough.7

No more vomming.. yet... cue 3am carpet scrubbing..
uniforms and pack ups sorted.
I have emailed the senco because I need to discuss a million things and I am not prepared to go through the school office while News of the World is working there.. I do not need the entire community knowing my business thank you very much.
HB.. it was more a suggestion for those worrying at the moment.. but I have a total lack of respect or tolerance for anyone unless they have earned it, probably why I don't have many friends in the flesh.. and I do tend to be a bit Dot and my mouth says things before my brain has had chance to veto it.. I have trained myself to think, count to 5 before saying anything, but sometimes the mouth hits over-ride lol.. As for the plague... it is a great excuse to not see anyone, stay home and slob in bed.. or maybe that was just meHope you feel better soon. xx
Had a brief convo with my sister who is bemoaning the loss of an ex who was getting double helpings until his official girlfriend found out and is being rude about my sister.. I told her to block them both and find other things to fill the void and she won't even miss him in a few weeks.. she likes having the 'woe-is-me' thing going on whereas I thought he was an insipid pap from the off.. I wasn't wrong.
I cannot believe it is April tomorrow.. it is FLYING by.. and my christmas shopping is barely touched!!

Sending more virtual hugs to everyone. My brain is buzzing; I can just about cope with a hay fever tablet (which I take at night) followed by a C0sta between the gym and uni, but today (Wed) I got home at 6.30pm to find Mr N had kindly made me a large cafetiere of coffee; I usually text him on a Thursday to say I'm leaving uni which is his cue to make me one as I have to rush off to drumming not long after I've got home.........it was sweet of him today but I would have made a decaff......so I'm still buzzing mentally although physically tired after gym, loooooong assessment, confused/confusing phone call from my mum then my brother (his wasn't confusing, but telling him about mum's was). Sorry that surely made no sense.
Flying was scaffolding our life together in between chaos:
- emptied DW in the 2mins between breakfast and gym
- final meal planned for this weekend's visitors
- shopping list for weekend. We already decided that although I'm usually happy doing it on my way home from uni on a Wed, it is so busy and we need so much that Mr N is going to come into town with me today (just noticed it is Thurs), wander round while I have my music lesson then we can both go to Mr Asd. I haven't been there for ages, I usually go to the other Mr A which is cheaper but it doesn't fit the route/time plan.
- checked a load of emails; why did so many arrive today?
Just realised my kindle needs charging; curses as even this late I like to read a little bit before I fall asleep. Perhaps it will last a tiny while......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Been a pottering sort of a day. Managed to go to mr l as I had a £2 off coupon but when I got home I found another...must have earned one and won one. Anyway I'm supposed to go and bank some PTA money today so I might pop in on the way home and buy something. It expires today.
I have put the PT A files in a bag, they can go and live in school. Then if I leave they will be gone already.
office is a bit tidier and I found DDs little usb thing for her mouse.
cottage pie for tea, and one in the freezer and I thought of Lamewolf and her shepherds spy...
hope the HoneyBears are ok. There is Covid in our y2 class...mitigations will be in place on Friday, I shall open the windows.

Valli.. opening the windows at this outdoor temperature and humidity will make that virus and other cold/flu/tummy bug viruses spread much quicker.. the viral particles are killed UV light, above 'room temp' and low humidity. There is loads of medical research now showing that opening windows is inaccurate advice, even Wiki agrees!! The year round very hot, very dry, very sunny climate in Africa is one reason why C19 failed to get a good grip there, opening windows works there and in many parts of Asia and America but not here where it is freezing and damp and peak season for respiratory infections and pukey bugs.Dot, who is sat next to one of the few opening windows in her class room has more colds and plagues than other children in the class.. She is sat there because she doesn't have any cold/hot awareness and never complains, I have growled and the window has remained closed.. just because she doesn't complain doesn't make freezing her ok.. they complained she was 'tired'.. I said 'no, hypothermic!!!!'
Dot deposited at school at 9:20.. she again had to be dragged out of bed, dressed, brushed and fed her breakfast while also being stopped from running back to her bed.. and while trying to get Twinkle ready.
OH is loading the DW
Squeak and Pixie are painting rocks again.. Pixie was barfing in the night so she is off until Monday..
I sent a huge confused email to the SENCo last night and have a meeting with her on Tuesday at 9.. should be fun with Dot!!! I really need to discuss a few points.. I think she might be the same woman who took over the SENCO role at the primary I removed Moomin and Tiddles from in years 3 and 5.. I guess I will find out on Tuesday
I had an email saying my cat food order had been returned and refunded.. ok.. but it is sat in my back room but if they want to refund I am not telling them otherwise (large corporation not small company I do have some morals)
MUST POST 2 PARCELS!!!!

ooh who knew - having said that I'm a bit of a fresh air fiend and often have the windows/skylights open in 'normal' times if the temperature is pleasant enough.
I have a cold so I'm feeling sorry for myself.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Trying to put my gas / elec readings online, the system is just going round and round, so the supplier has either disabled it / it has crashed /or too many people are doing the same thing.Window fixing man has just been and gone, it seems they 'forgot' to order the part! so he cannot do anything, so why come at all, you could have told me that over the phone. So for the month of March I have made an extra £143.26 (ebay / surveys etc) no door sale of 'stuff'. Car booting starts soon, just hope the weather is warmer to bring out the punters! Some one has made an offer on one of my items which I have accepted, more flingage.Sunny now but very cold with north easterly winds, but the sea look pretty, might go and take some photos.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I like windows open too.. I think public places like school etc should have overnight UV lights to zap viruses.. but then we need the immunity they provide.. we can't really win can we in this country. It could be heck of a lot worse I guess.. just thankful for my indoor plumbing this week!! haha
parcels send..
it's drying up out there so I may get the washing on the line.. and check on old spidey who was left out in yesterday weather.. I'm so mean! If I bring plants in the furry idiots eat them.
I need to list more stuff I think.. I do have another large box full I can go through and I need to sort Grandpink some summer dresses out for school.. and I need to gut everyones wardrobes.. AGAIN
Money shuffled around..
Squeak fed fluffers... that's a point.. I haven't heard a sound from her or Pixie since about 9:30... I should maybe check on them.
