We got Dot to school at 9:25.. that was a battle I did not need this morning. She had been up since 4am .. honestly she is getting worse at sleeping and the school run is a nightmare

Squeak and Pixie are painting rocks in the kitchen..

DD1 is sad.. someone she met online while expecting Lionel has died of ovarian cancer which was not diagnosed due to the feeble excuse of C19.. she was 26 and her baby girl isn't yet 2.. there should be inquiries into the failed patients who were denied investigations or referrals or life saving appointments because of the ridiculous way GP surgeries are still being run and peoples lives chanced.

Sadly we gave a similar story with MIL. Fobbed off till so bad she went to a and e and by then it was too late to do anything 😢

hooved downstairs while the dog attacked it and shut wet washing in bathroom with dehumidifier rather than running tumble dryer

CCL.. there should be compensation paid to the families.. her baby girl isn't even 2 yet.. the medical people should be accountable.. putting their own fear of, what is for most, not a severe illness at all ahead of doing their job of diagnosing and treating serious illness is utterly shambolic. I know of a 3 year old who died in September 2020, after the doctors refused to see him, he had leukaemia and while they probably couldn't have saved him the speed it tore through his tiny body he would have at least had a chance or at least had longer earthside.

How is this fair or just? And for the whole world to be back to normal yet the dr's are STILL refusing to see patients.. how many more of these beautiful people must be taken before they are kicked into touch?

I've antibac'd the bathrooms.. 10 times, cleaned loos and replaced hand towels and antibac'd chilren.. I hate stomach bugs.. I hate vomit and I hate being tired..

I might bring the children home from school, feed them trash and we can all go to bed and be human beings tomorrow because today is done for!

I don't even have the energy to knit..

I received a hoapital appointment about 10 days ago, 9:00am on a school day.. next day I received a letter cancelling it.. today I got the new appointment.. 3pm on a school day.. insanity.. I can't even change it..

Hi ladies

I have just read back. So much worry and sadness around. I’m just saying hi, not feeling great at all, had a thoroughly awful weekend and an absolutely horrible anxiety attack in public in front of the children 😢. I’ve been having nightmares about the incident that set the attack off ever since. Medicated to the max now. 

The item I sold on eBay this week to tide us over money wise has arrived broken which I am gutted about as I wrapped it so so carefully. And now we’re skint.

ASB.. that just sucks.. was it not sent insured?? We sent a clock one time and the courier opened and 'repacked' it so it was smashed when it arrived at its destination.. that was sucky.. I hope you feel better soon and showing weakness in front of the childen is ok.. talk to them about it when you are able and reassure them you are ok and that it is not their fault maybe give them a job in case it happens again if they are big enough, sometimes having a responsibility helps them help you (((hugs)))

OH loaded the DW on his break and I am going to be the best parent ever... beans and toast for dinner.. and if they are lucky... hotdogs..

Aww ASB thats rubbish, and sorry to hear things are tough right now, much love.

Pigpen what gets me is that politicians make out that the NHS was fine before Covid, which is a complete and utter load of rubbish.  Hope the sickness bug doesnt spread to anyone else x

I still think my line manager is up to something, and why make me wait until the end of next week.  Believe me I will stand my ground.  Got really stressed in a meeting earlier, thank goodness I have a few days off now.  This job pays well and I need the money, that's whats important.

Flying has been minimal today, been in the office for 9.5 hours.  Oh but I did catch up with my brother on the phone which was nice.

Absolutely rubbish day at work, not mean or nasty, just downright taking the wotsit. I  - proudly, I might add - held my tongue (just), and downloaded to DH when I walked in the front door. He heard, water off a duck’s back with him, and we had dinner with wine. On a school night. 

Kitchendailies done. Packups done for me and DH, even though he is still going no further than the spare room, as return to work plans were cancelled this week by the company. He is actively planning his retirement…
