Morning all xx
I've smiled at my bathroom windowsill and the dust free half of the CoD. They look so much better. 😍
Hope all goes well today Valli xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped my brew.
Birds will be fed, and recycling put out before I set off to the paid stuff.
Have a good day 😊

Thanks Round
yesterday I was out for over 12 hours, 11 of them at the chalkface...that's partly why I am hoping for success today. The paperwork is a killer.
I have asked for printouts of certificates for recent, relevant training to take with me. Well possibly relevant.
Did manage HHI last night and put DW and WM on.
Anyway, off till Friday! Bonus!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good luck today Valli. Morning all.
Still not right here, painkillers taken and kicking in.
I'm not at all sure what will be achieved today but I have again cancelled all meetings.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning all.
Good luck Valli! x
Hope you feel better soon, Jazee x
Keep hold of that feeling of pride in your achievements, however small, round x
I have just taken Rosie to kennels for 4 days, as DH and I are going away for a short break not far from Valliland. I am still rushing around to finish work that must be done before we go, and need to give DH a lift to SW very soon (if he's like me, he will have put on weight this week).
Will be making our beds every day and keeping up to date with the thread!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xxx

Posi-vibes Valli... everything crossed for you!
Spent most of yesterday on the throne.. left a scathing review about the chip shop which tried to poison us..
Dot has a sore throat so she is a joy.. No one would get ready for school this morning.. apparently it takes over an hour to get dressed, eat cereal and leave the house..
I did put about 20 baby spider plants in cups of water to extend their root growth so I can plant them.. not really sure what we will do when I have removed them all off the parent plant and we have about 60 of them.. lol

Good luck, Valli, I’m keeping everything crossed for you.
Up early, hair washed and pulled to a semblance of straight, bedding changed, window flung open in the BR (shut now, it’s chilly out there), wm run, dw emptied and run on hot with vinegar, new glasses picked up, quick look around Mr S, picked up some salad stuff but avoided looking at the clothes. I don’t need any, and I am trying to be more ethically aware and also avoid buying any new this year. The Fashion on a Ration thread certainly focusses the mind.
I have WULTD, and certainly think that I have peaked for the day.Vague plan for the rest of the day, in no particular order:
HHI
Quick vacuum downstairs
Clean the shower
Prep a couple of meals. Who knows, I might even stretch to wiping the kitchen sides properly, but don’t hold out hope for that.8 -
Dailies done and I've swished the mop over the floors.Spend less now, work less later.10

I'm so glad the 5 minute idea is helping people; it really does make a difference. This house looks a lot better since I gave up thinking I had to blitz somewhere if I did anything at all, with the result that I left most of it most of the time because I just don't have the energy to do that much. I did have to do the shower room and superking properly yesterday because someone is due this weekend, a regular who stays twice a year every year who we both like but that's not an amount of physical work I can every day. Although, having said that, I did the tiles and bath yesterday in our en suite because I'd just had a bath last night, so rather more flying than I can normally do in one day.Belovéd still with the lurgi, and I've just done another test - negative. I've had a chat with the Foodbank and we've agreed that as long as I test negative both Wednesday evening and Thursday morning (and I may do one Wednesday morning as well) I can go in through a door that keeps me away from everyone, zip up to my own office and use the loo next door when I need to but other than that stay completely away from all the other areas and everyone else. I can ring for anything they've forgotten to put in my office on Wednesday evening - it's very fortunate that we are the only two people who use that office and that computer. The other person who does this work is off this week so it would really help if I can go in there or she'll have a mountain to come back to next Tuesday.I'm sending you all the luck in the world, Valli.Better is good enough.9

Scathing email sent to the sexist city council.. offering OH's all over the city £150 energy rebate off their CT when the household is headed by a woman.. just because i do not have a wang does not mean I do not own this house or pay bills... I am NOT a happy bunny
I paid some bills... despite having female hoo-har..
I am going for a ranty shower and apparently I have Dots plan thing discussion at 2:20.. *groan*
