If work know your absence is stress related then offering an OH referral should be consistently standard practice, stress risk assessments and so on as part of duty of care.  Even if they think it will not help, they should not assume, so actually they are doing the right thing.  You could always decline politely, citing your resignation but sometimes contractual sick pay is linked to following the process so worth checking the policy.

Thanks Redo, that really resonates with the wording of the email. I have declined AN oH referral, citing the NHS referral and that I know I can access the EAP.

In my experience OHU appointments take a long time to come and if you are leaving anyway there seems little point. Will being off put your job offer at risk?

Hope you feel better soon. I find time off in nature does the most for me - particularly walking. I love swimming - I'd just prefer it if the others weren't using the pool at the time LOL... Since there doesn't seem to be a winning lottery ticket in my postbox I doubt that will happen for me any time soon.

Try gentle things like colouring or journalling if they appeal. When I was grieving over my dad - I just did random abstract doodling, pattern printing, and occasional cute creatures...

Approaching end of life with parent, fairly imminent now.  Not sure I will be ready to go back to work in less than two weeks.  Going for blood test at surgery tomorrow so may ask about how to book an appointment.

In MSE news, very impressed savings increased at all this month but we may need to take some out to help family member for a short term.

Completely lost my mojo with Prolific, really need to get back into it.

Sorry to read about your parent. Such a hard time
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
