Some great things going on there! Annoying about the drawer front though! I have also never heard of 'What I Owe the World', like this idea!1

Fantastic weekend including an NT visit with parents and DS / BIL which was thoroughly enjoyable. Made going back to work today harder - OH and I spent all weekend saying we need to find a way to give up work now but sadly there are 300,000 reasons we can't just yet.
Up to £629 OP since October which is all from additional money doing surveys / selling etc.
Got 80% off FVF on ebay ending today so need to list the dog guard from old car but need to measure and get cost of shipping first.5 -

Sat down with OH earlier and got updates on all his pension pots. Agreed he's going to open a S&S ISA and a SIPP which he'll transfer two small pots into. Feels good to take some positive action!2

Woohoo. Good to get him on board - and good that you are planning ahead. Where are you up to with the home improvements?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Kitchen fitter is due back today to fit replacement drawer front, need the tiler to come back and fit the last bit of trim. Lights are up over the peninsula but we still need to fit ceiling lights.
Immersion heater element blew last weekend so that needs to be replaced but has seized solid - we can use the central heating for hot water so we are not without hot water in the meantime.
Then a break from DIY until July!1 -
We were planning to switch our joint A/C to Nwide for the packaged account which includes breakdown (inc European cover). OH has gone to France for the last two years, may be heading over again shortly and is likely to go next year. We've taken out cover through our insurance which includes European breakdown on one car but this would give us cover (UK and European) on all cars so it makes sense. He already has a packaged account and the Nwide account offers better benefits for less money.
Noticed Nwide are offering switch bonus if you already have a current account and remembered OH has an Nwide account we opened for the regular saver years ago and never got round to closing as he never goes near a town with a branch.
Need to find the card (knew where it was until the kitchen reno turned house upside down) and check if we can switch the joint account in - if so, happy days! We were going to switch anyway so free money. Will also help as their debit card is fee free for foreign transactions and we're off to Norway next month (if we ever book hotels and train / ferry whilst we are out there!)
£48.20 in from eB@y sale yesterday for dog guard, only £1.80 in fees due to 80% off FVF offer which I'm happy with - next time I'm procrastinating listing stuff for sale I must remember this! Also listed oven for sale last night - had a message straight away asking if it's available (since I listed it three minutes ago, really?!) but no follow up yet.
£129 OP this month as I managed to cash out PA three days in a row. £705 OP since October, all "free" money.3 -
Switch applied for. Fingers crossed they take into account OHs current a/c and we qualify for switching bonus.
