That's great, thanks. Having trouble with data request at the moment because my logbook is registered at my previous address (which is also my mum's address, which is probably why I never did it) but hopefully I can get the new logbook in 5 days to confirm my identity, and then get the data including pictures. If there are any.
Interesting the form they send you to fill in, which asks you to confirm if you were the driver! Don't worry though, I know not to confirm anything and will only send a utility bill and the new logbook.0 -

Hi again people. I just got another Claim Form for another overstay at the same car park on a different day and year (the following year). The reason they are separate is that one is my former married name, and the other is my current maiden name. What do I do about this?0
-
Sorry for double posting but I am apparently ineligible to edit my posts at the moment!
This second letter is for 2 overstays. So I have had 1 letter in my married name (the first one I got) for an overstay in 2018, and now this new letter in my maiden name for 2 overstays, one in 2018 and one is 2019. Does this change anything about my case, and should I try to get them somehow merged?0 -
I suggest you contact the DPO of the parking company and send that Data Rectification Notice to clear up any confusion regarding your different names and addresses. I am assuming that the car registration mark is the same in both cases you are referring to. If so, then also contact the parking company - in writing - and explain about the name change and require them to advance their complete case rather than feeding it piecemeal.3

Thank you. Yes the car is the same, the address is the same - they just got my married name on one and my maiden (divorced!) name on the other.0

I got some info from my bank and on two of the three occasions, I spent quite a lot of money in the shops on those days. Does that make any difference to my defence? You'd think they would be pleased!0
-
I am sure most shops deplore these companies. Have you asked any of them to help you out/ Have you complained to your MP and local paper? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

People have complained to the paper about this car park before; I don't think I would get anything out of complaining to them, and at this stage, isn't it too late to complain to the retailers? Especially since one of them is Outfit, which has since ceased trading.
It's so annoying because there's so much there - a Costa, Starbucks, Hobbycraft, H&M, Matalan, B&M, Boots, Next, Argos, Nike outlet, Poundland, Card Factory - and if you are using a lot of these, which I often do as I have children and like to avoid going into the city centre, all it takes is a child's toilet emergency, a queue at the checkout, or a queue to get out of the car park itself and BANG you're over your 2.5 hour limit. I understand they want to avoid people parking there for the football nearby, and the entertainment complex which has its own multi-storey, but whenever I got there, I ALWAYS stick to the shops the car park is for. If I overstay, it's only because I lost track of time whilst shopping, trying on clothes, or dealing with children / traffic etc.0
