Hi all
Much love Dizzy.
Looonngg but good day at the paid stuff. Tea was ready for me when I got home.
I have a sore throat. DS1 has infected me. Hopefully the Vicks First Defence will stop it becoming a full blown cold.
Wet here, washing over the airer with the dehumidifier going. Not much flying again, house is not too bad, not worrying about it.
Pondering on whether to bid for a pair of shoes on Ebay. I have 4 pairs of the same shoes that I wear for work in different colours, they are the only smart shoes my feet can cope with and they dont sell them any more. These ones are brand new, I could put them away for when my navy ones get too scruffy. They used to be about £80 new and these are £18, but that feels like a lot at the moment.9 -
My V!nted quids I have transferred to my bank and bought a new sink and base unit.. they will be here on Tuesday and my new tap will be here tomorrow.. My kitchen will be nice and functional!! The next big job will be building a base for the shower and raising that to help the waste flow. it should not be that difficult.
pack ups done apart from Dots sandwich as we have no bread.. Pixie has sausage rolls so no bread needed and Twinkles eats fruit and not much else.

Sorry to hear what you've been through Dizzy.
In flying, kitchen is spotless, have turned lights off in the rest of the flat so I can't see it! Good news too, my Mum is feeling better so is coming to stay on Friday! I always REALLY look forward to her being here and then find it annoying after, like, 2 hours! However, am grateful she's well enough so will focus on that, and sorting a meal plan.11 -

YL.. if the shoes were for DH or DS would you think twice about getting them??? I would get them because we are just as worthy as everyone else in the family!

(((Hugs))) Dizzy. If they're no longer available and they're less than a quarter of the original price, and they're the only shoes you find comfortable for work YL I'd snap them up.Three batches of ice cream made - caramel, ginger and apricot. I couldn't find the other jar of caramel so Belovéd suggested apricot and I have to say it's rather gorgeous.Better is good enough.9

Love and hugs to Dizzy x
YL - Piggers is absolutely right - if they are exactly what you have found to be the best thing, then you wouldn’t hesitate for DS or DH, so, yes, you are worth it and they sound a bargain x
Kaz - huge respect for signing up to the challenge x
Oh my days, HB, are you trying to torture me through ice cream fantasies 🤣. I was quite taken by blackcurrant, but I LOVE apricots.Nothing exciting here to report - ok day at work, dinner rustled up, Mr M delivered (I am liking the 4-5pm delivery slot as DH has to deal with the delivery and puts the chilled and frozen stuff away. Just leaves me to rearrange it, as I confess to being a control freak. The tins etc sit on the side until the weekend, as I am a lazy control freak😉), kitchen dailies done, pack up done, HHI cleared.
Today has been non stop rain. It’s been dismal.9 -
I have been to bee and emm...I have bleach and clothes detergent and coffee. What I don't have is sawdust, straw or hay because they seem to no longer stock it. I think a slight change of route home from work is called for, then I can go to a wilko with a nearby car park and stock up.
I have gathered lots of carp for the bin and done some rehoming. And cleaned a window with a grubby frame.

well I can only apologise...I did put a list up for today but clearly forgot to save (and check) ...and there was me thinking you were all cleaning your bathrooms. Oops.
I have cleaned my laptop - sprayed the polish onto the cloth then gave it a wipe. I found out that a collague killed his by cleaning with a wet wipe.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
