Its not been a brilliant week as I think I did too much last week so everything seems very hard work not that I have done much. Bear had a lovely run on Monday and was well behaved. The weather even co operated as it was sunny when we went having been raining off and on all morning. Parcel posted yesterday and shopping done. We were supposed to go to the music festival today but didnt due to the dreadful weather. Mr LH kindly took Bear out on his own this lunchtime and got caught in a hail storm and well as getting very wind swept.  We did consider the festival tomorrow but the ground is very boggy there so we are not going. This was after I spent a couple of hours baking this morning for gifts for the stewards and organisers. We dont eat cake so not sure what I am supposed to do with it.  Gifts for friends I think.

Better weather is forecast tomorrow so will try to force myself to do something in the garden. The fence will be too wet to paint so that will have to waite for the weekend but I can sort the pots out and start to tidy and clean the conservatory (it will be a long job as Mr LH is using it as a store room).

I hope everyone is being more productive than me. Have a good evening.

The weather has been very stormy here too. One minute glorious sunshine the next torrential rain and very windy.

No fence painting today as it did rain so the wood would have been damp. Hopefully do some tomorrow. Instead I washed down the outside of the conservatory and cleared the gutter. The exercise of up and down the ladder was somewhat tiring but had a good rest after. I have decided to sort the garden from the house towards the end of the garden. This will include weeding the patio, gravel and plant pots. Cleaning the paving on the patio as well as carrying on with the fence. I am limited to about an hours work at a time and obviously there is house stuff as well so it will take a while but I will get there in the end.

Repotted some tomato plants that were getting a bit big for the existing ones and good news Mr LH said I can use his plant pots. All plant pots in the greenhouse .watered

Bear did some long line training with MrLH and was doing really well until he saw a van which caused him to lunge and nearly pull Mr LH over, he has caused his shoulder to hurt.

Busyish week this week as I need to find a gift for a friend whose daughter has had a baby, bear has his secure field run tomorrow, shopping Tuesday and the monthly viist to my BiL on Wed. At some stage I need to collect my prescription. If the pharmacy didnt always have such long queues I could do it on the way back from shopping but as it usually takes a minmum of 15 mins assuming they can find find it which they always seem to have trouble with I dont want to keep Mr LH waiting and Bear waiting in the car. Frequently despite giving them over a weeks notice it isnt ready which then takes even longer or I have to go back so it is easier for me to get a taxi there and back so it doesnt matter how long it takes.

That is it for today. Happy Sunday pm. I hope you have a good week.

Chipping away at jobs, even if it’s slowly, is still good progress. Good to hear how well Bear is settling in 😊

    Evening all.
Today has been a washout as far as garden stuff is concerned as it has rained (drizzled)  on and off for much of the day which makes sweeping a waste of time as all it does is spread the mud about, Present bought for new baby. I got a couple of toys in the end because I know they have lots of baby stuff and these will be useful in the future. I also took some books to the charity shop . There will be more but  am limited in how many I can carry. 1 load of towel washing done and hung in the bedroom due to rain.

New problem with my eyes has arisen in that the lid on my left eye has started drooping which combined with the cataract in my right eye is making seeing very hard especially in bright light. I was warned this could happen after the operation on my right eye. I am hoping that a trip to the optician may tell me the cataract is ready to be operated on which may come quicker than raising the lid on the other one. Last time it took 3 years. With all the strikes I am not very hopeful of an early appointment so I can see things will be difficult seeing the world through one very blurry eye however I know both things can be sorted it is just a matter of time. I am pretty sure it isnt the myasthenia as my meds are not helping it.

Out this afternoon for Bear to have his time in the secure field. It is still a mud bath and he founnd the large muddy puddle to bury his nose in as well as the rest of him.We had to wipe him off before he got in the car as he was a very soggy and muddy dog but he had fun so thats the main thing.

Confession time - I found a £ in a pocket today and  have to admit I invested it in a book from the charity shop.

On that note I will finish here and say goodnight have a peaceful one.

At last we have received the invoice for the garage door so thats been paid The household pot is looking a bit sad  so now saving for the hall, stair and landing decorating and new carpet starts. The SO for the emergency fund has gone in and that now stands at £1000. Other than the invoice no money money spent today so that a bonus. About £14 on taxis to fetch my prescription. One item is out of stock until the ned off June. It a good job I have managed to build a stock of that one. I did know there are problems with it as it is the main drug for myasthenia and the support society was reporting problems. Wednesday was the trip to BiL so another £34 on train fare and £10 on fish and chips - to save a bit of money we shared a one portion.

More painting done this morning but couldnt do much as there was rain forecast and strangely it arrived on time for once. There is one panel left for a first coat and the trellis put up to keep Bear safe in the garden. Then a 2nd coat for the trellis and 3 panels. If the wood is dry tomorrow I will have about an hour to continue. I can at least see the end of the job. A little weeding done. downstairs hoovered and the first bit of the sweeping the patio before the rain started.

Usual dog walks. The field we take him is quite rough and the grass hasnt been cut yet this year so yeserday  Mr LH fell down a hole that is hidden and hurt his ankle. Fortunately it is ok today.
I brought back a few books from BiL to list on ebay - most arent worth listing but have stared doing the ones that are. BiL say there is only about another 22metres of shelves to go!!! :o

Thats caught up for now take care and have a good weekend.
