Theatre trips sound great and something to look forward to.
Hope the knee heals quickly, and good luck with the dog visit too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Planning your theatre trips sounds very exciting and gives you some well deserved treats to look forward too. We went to a local theatre last week for a sound of the 60's evening and it was such fun and so uplifting.
I hope your aches and pains soon subside

My knee is a bit better today although still hobbling around. I feel very tired today but I suspect thats the pain killers I am takeing. The visit to see the dog went well and he will be arriving tomorrow,. Surpringly he isnt a collie. He is a Hungaian Mudi which are smaller than a collie but are also herding dogs. He is about 5years old and seems to be a reasonably good boy. He astounded his owners when Mr LH sat on the floor and he settled down beside him. His present owners have invested a lot of time training him as he has come from Bosnia and it is thought he has never lived in a home before. There is still a lot of training to do as he will inevitably regress a bit when moved. He is being rehomed due to a change of circumstances. Normally we wouldnt consider a dog from abroad as there are so many British dogs in rescue (no offence to those with dogs from overseas) but he has been here a year so he is almost a British dog and I dont think he would do well going to kennels. In some ways he has similar problems to C but to a much lesser degree and although his walking isnt perfect it is much more manageable. He doesnt like fireworks and thunder but just hide not go ballistic trying to escape. He will arrive with us tomorrow as his owners are heartbroken to have to give him up and want it done asap as we did with C.
For convenience he will be called Bear on here and I will keep you all posted how he does. Nothing else for now so I am going to settle down and probably fall asleep in front of the TV. Have a good evening.5 -
I hope Bear settles down well with you when he arrives and glad the visit went well.
