What a lazy weekend. I have done a bit of listing (including 3 items I found were already listed - I have since ended them). I sold  1 item which I posted this morning and a bundle of 3 others which unfortuunately have not been paid for. I hate non payers who cant even be bothered to tell you they have changed their mind. I do wish ebay would allow sellers to leave negative feedback even if it was only that someone hasnt paid or been in touch.

I have put a litle bit more into the loan. Every tme I make an extra payment the bank send me a letter to tell me I have. If I make 2 payments in one day from different accounts they send two letters. I have a huge file of them and received another 3 in the post today. When the last payment goes through I will collect together the ones not yet filed into the file and burn it.

A while ago I bought a pair of trainers in Sainsbury which said they were water resistant and they have been brilliant on wet grass so today I bought a pair of boots which also say water resistant. I hope they are as good. I go through shoes for a pastime and they rarely last mor than a couple of months. The price doesnt matter  because the way I walk they wear on the side of the shoe and the longer I wear them the worse the they get consequently I have given up paying much for shoes.

My DD rang today to tell me she has covid and my SiL was about to test for it as he had a sore throat so I would imagine he has it too. She said she isnt too bad at the moment. I will keep in touch and hope she isnt too bad.

Money saving today - I didnt hoover - I must do it tomorrow as Mr H is very hairy and so is the carpet. Mr L (changed from Mr LH as I agree it is confusing) still hasnt cleared the tools from dismantling the trailer so I cant easily clean in the conservatory so tomorrow I am going to gather them all together and dump them on his chair. Hopefully he will get the hint. If I mention it he will get stroppy and it wont get done at all and will still be there next summer when we want to use the conservatory. I could put them in a box but then they will stay there. He is hard to motivate sometimes.

Goodnight all an early night tonight.

I hate non payers as well, they are so frustrating.  Well done on the listings and sales otherwise.  That will be a satisfying bonfire once the loan is gone :)

Hope DD and SIL are ok

I think the Bay of E was better when customers were able to leave the full range of feedback. I used to use it quite a lot for selling bits & bobs, but rarely even look at it now. There are so many time wasters & as everything seems geared to buyers' rights, rather than sellers, there doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent to bad behaviour.

That will be a great bonfire of the loan letters.  Could be money saving too if you leave your heating switched off and huddle round the flames 🔥

Unfortunately due to the lack of a chimney the bonfire will be in the garden or we will suffocate. But might still enable us to leave the heating off for a few minutes extra. We still havent put it on although Mr L is complaining. I have told him to put it on but he keeps saying no.

Quite a productive day for me. I have at last managed to book our covid boosters in our town rather than travelling miles which Mr L refused to do.I have dusted and hoovered the lounge and the conservatory having dumped Mr Ls tools on the chair. He did take one tool roll and put it in the car so that is some progress albeit minor. Tesco shop this afternoon and managed to set the alarm off as I left. It was a small joint of beef that apparently has security tags. I have never had that before so it must be new. They are going to have fun coming up to Christmas with all the beef joints being sold.

Off to my BiL tomorrow so a very tiring day coming up. I just hope the trains run properly. I never know until I get to the station as the train starts from here and then I just have to hope the connections run as they should. I am also having to get a taxi from the station to and from BiL as he hasnt got his car for some reason. I will find out why tomorrow.

Sale still still not paid for so I will cancel it and block the buyer (or rather non buyer).

Enough wittering from me and off to cancel the sale.

I keep getting reminders to book our Covid boosters. The centres are miles away and we don’t have transport. However Boots in the city centre are doing them I believe. I think a lot of people will slip through the net as the boosters aren’t as accessible as they were last time.

I set off the alarm in Lidl with a pack of steaks bought for Mr SA. Fortunately I was waved straight through without a bag check.

What a palaver with the eBay sales ☹️

Fingers crossed for a smooth journey tomorrow 🤞

Sun_Addict Keep checking on the NHS website as they keep adding places that are doing them. I have been trying for about 3 weeks and only found a fairly local one today. Someone did tell me that ringing 119 sometimes gives more local centres than the website aspecially in your circumstances. Good luck.

The securrity guard just checked my receipt which fortunately was stil in my hand as Tesco have a stupid system where you have to put part of your car registration number into their machine. I still havent worked out what the point is as they have cameras and as I nearly always take less than 1/2 an hour I dont need to scan the parking ticket you get at the till anyway.

Not a happy bunny having got up at 5.30am to go to BiL the train is cancelled. The next one is an hour later. I am sitting here debating whether to get the later train and come home.
Well thats made the decision I have just checked the later train and they are warning of possible disruptions so I may not make the connections. I will ring my BiL later and rearrange. As he hasnt got his car a later date may work better. Someone is telling me I shouldnt travel today.

All the signs are there, @ladyholly - I should go home & put the kettle on.
