Well done on the sale.  Hope you get some answers about little one.

Lots of us lead boring lives, it's still interesting reading about them!

Fingers crossed for the little one 🤞

Don’t knock boring. I’ve had so many unpleasant things happen to me in the past few years I’m happy with boring.

Unfortunately there are no answers for the little one it is just a matter of keeping her as comfortable as possible until the inevitable. It is a balancing act between damaging her kidneys and helping her heart. We are not sure which one will take her but not expecting her to survive the winter.

Plans for today did not work a Mr LH is in pain from the effort he has had to put in with the trailer. Hopefully carried forward to tomorrow. I did get to the PO although I nearly gave up as the bus was 2 minutes early so I missed it and I was waching the next one on the app and it suddenly diasappeared, the one after that did turn up thank goodness. Thinking it was going to be a busy pm I did nothing else this morning so it has been a quiet day.

I did did move a couple of paving slabs into the mini greenhouse so it doent get blown over when the wind is bad and pick up the bits of rust and wood from the trailer which had fallen of on the gravel. I have also made a start on tidying up the shrubs and weeding the pots ready for winter. The garden now looks much bigger without the trailer which is nice. Even Mr LH noticed.

Although the weather is getting colder I am still in short sleeves and our lounge is still at 20 so all good so far. I think the long sleeves may well appear tomorrow and I have put another blanket on the bed. I will probably be too hot but I can always throw it off. The above is the advantage of my meds and the fact we live in a terraced house.

I spoke to my DD today and she is very pleased my youngest DGD is moving out on Friday. She liked having her home for a bit but they only have a small house so her and her boyfriend are a bit much and this time she is staying local so she can see her regularly.

Thats all for tonight as I have a couple of things to do before watching Michael Palin in Iraq.A peaceful night to all.

Horrible day today and now I can barely wallk from one end of the room to the other without panting but we have got everything planned done.

    |Wlked to the pharmacy and back and amazingly they had all my medication. Made an appointment for the little one for her anal glands to be emptied ( sorry perhaps too much information). Tip run done and the first load of trailer bits dumped. Weekly shop at Mr T less frozen peas, our preferred bacon and the little ones food. I am not sure whats happening with her food as mno one has any, got a different brand that she will eat but 65p more expensive for each tray. Final visit to the garden centre for fish food. We have made the decision to get it on line in future as we hate the garden centre now. They are packing more and more stuff into it and every time you try to find something you are met with a blocked off area with more stuff or something they are building. It took us ages to find the aquatic dept and then having paid for the food we had the same problem getting out. There are very few signs and we ended up having to walk far further than needed.

This evening I have put £15 into the savings account and another £15 into the loan account so today is a good day especially as the shopping was less than usual even allowing for the things they hadnt got.

Off to watch the repair shop and possibly fall asleep though I hope not. I hate sleeping in the evening but love my afternoon naps which I missed today.

What a miserable day weather wise. We got quite wet at lunch time taking the dogs out and I am having to put my coat on when I take them out at other times. I am however still in short sleeves in the house and although the temp was low when I came back from early dog walks it was soon back up to 20 once the doors were shut so still no heating although Mr LH is beginning to complain but he is being brave so far. :)

Checked the gas and electric account to see what they are doing and found they were reducing the DD so I have put that back up to the normal amount to try to build a surplus. I know our fix doesnt end until next October but it will help to cushion the rise when it happens.

Did a bit more weeding and cutting back. It takes me ages because I can only do about 15 minutes at a time before my breathing goes.

On a more political note I have written to our MP with regard to the rumours that they are going to renege on the triple lock for pensions and benefits saying they cant afford it. Yet they can afford to give the wealthiest a tax cut. Due to Mr LH have mental health problems caused by his employer (the council in our local city) ignoring the behaviour of his boss despite complaints and having  to retire early and me having to leave work early due to CFS we missed out on our final years work when we would have been able to save a decent amount after the mortgage was paid. Therefore our position is not what it should have been.

I am very suspicious of the government refusing to publish the OBR report until the end of November. What are they trying to hide? So far I am not impressed with what they are doing and neither are many of their own MPs.

Good things for today - The detectorists is on later, My DGD has moved into her new flat which is quite nice apparently and my DD is happy as they are back to being a 2 person house.

Good plan on the gas/electricity direct debit.  You've promoted me to check my account - thank you.

I did a load of ebay listing this morning. I had another small sale last night so that will need posting on Monday. I didnt do it today as they are on strike.

At lunchtime Mr LH was just going into the kitchen when we heard the scrap metal man that comes round regularly and has a tannoy on his lorry.so he dashed out and got him to take all the metal from the trailer. This leaves just some wood and plastic so that will save at least a couple of trips to the tip not to mention some huffing and puffing for us in lifting it. Hopefully that will ll go on Tuesday when we go shopping as we have to pass the road to the tip (recycling centre). We are very happy to have cleared it and he even took the wheels with tyres on which would have cost us £10.50 at the tip.

Looking to see what my next theatre trip is and need to ring my DD to see if she wants to come as she moaned when I went to see Joseph because I didnt ask her.

    Have a lovely Saturday evening.
