Good to hear from you again. Great news about the holiday. My first ever trip abroad many many years ago was a mini cruise to Denmark with a friend. You'll be fine on your own and will soon get chatting to fellow passengers.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

    Bored? That's not boring, @ladyholly! It's very

brave of you to embark on a Norwegian cruise on your own & I salute you for deciding not to miss out because Mr LH doesn't fancy going. I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to go on my own so fair play to you & I am already looking forward to hearing all about it!

    Good to hear from you,

Good to hear from you and well done on booking the cruise just for you as Mr LH didn't want to go. He goes off to his festivals so why shouldn't you get away on your own too!

Lovely to hear from you, im sorry but the garden chap would definitely NOT have been getting cancelled 😆 we would just have made whatever decisions were needed there and then for the sake of getting it done.

However, fabulous news on the cruise.

You won't need a partner on a cruise, there will be plenty other singles there that you can chum up with or not as you see fit each day.

I'm going to be stern here ..... I expect you to do exactly the same amount of prep for mr lh staying home alone as he does for you when he's away ! Absolutely no point running yourself ragged worrying about him and you were too exhausted to catch your train on time. He copes perfectly well when he's away, he'll cope perfectly well in his own house.

What I do expect tho is a list pinned to a prominent door '

"on my return on Thursday the x of blah I expect: no laundry to have built up, no dirty dishes awaiting me, kitchen clean and tidy, floors hoovered.... you know, same as you come home to"

Looking forward to hearing you enjoyed it and have booked another one. I believe its cheapest to book a cruise while you're on a cruise as there's all sorts of offers available.

Oh LH, I've heard good things about Norway. I used to have a friend from there, she had dreadlocks and we worked as waitresses. She went home after a while and we loosely kept in touch - she ended up training to be a nurse.

    Any clothes shopping recently?
