I just my oven gloves as the detachable handle never felt secure to be lifting a grill pan out!

I am using a towel. It works well, just have to make sure it's not damp.

    Evening all

The kitchen is now operational but I still have no flooring and the kitchen company hasnt replied to my email. If need be we can call in as they are a local company. We are very pleased with it so far. Everything is away although I might change things around as I use it and come across things that might work better.

The bedroom is now clean but I have no doubt there is still going to be dust around that will settle. The rest of the house is covered in dust so that is a task to start tomorrow. Hopefully by the end of the week the house will look better.

The builder, who didnt turn up last week, is starting work on Thursday but that work is all outdoors so wont affect us much except for coffee/tea making. Mr LH will be in charge of keeping an eye on what they are doing.

I was in the garden this morning and noticed a lot of my shrubs had turned grey. Then I realised it was dust from the tiles being cut outside. Thank goodness it could all be done in the garden.

Some shopping this morning and tomorrow I need to post the old router back to our internet provider. I will also look for some of the odd bits I want for the kitchen. There are 3 boxes of tiles that can be returned to the shop with us keeping an open one which is almost full in case of needing them.

When the kitchen floor is done I will clean the caravan where I have been cooking etc but it can wait for a bit until other stuff is done.

I am now going to relax as it has been a busy day. Have a good evening.

Good news on the kitchen apart from the flooring.
