Definitely a restful evening for you, @ladyholly. That's a very busy day. I know how my Mum was with her myasthenia/breathing on busy days like that & she was on alternate-day steroids.
Feet up tonight please, Missis!

Today has been a very lazy day as even walking to the kitchen is making me breathless. I think I will have to get in touch with the GP on Tuesday as my breathing is getting worse. I cant do it tomorrow as he is bound to ring as I am on my way to the hospital and I dont fancy discussing medical problems in public.I have fired off an email to the CEO of First Bus as when I was looking for bus times for my hospital trip tomorrow the only one on the website is for Saturday. They have already mixed up our local bus timetable with the one of the same number but in a different county. I am going to have to go to the bus stop in the morning and hope there is a timetable there. Fortunately I have to go that way anyway but thats not really the point. I long for the days when you could simply call in to their office an d pick up a timetable book.Small frugal wins today. I remembered to get the veg out of the freezer to defrost before cooking and the spinach for Mr LH was pit uner the grill while the oven wa on for the roast. When I got it out it was hot enough to serve. Shame I drained the other veg down the sink before made the gravy but I try.Nothing else for today but a busy day tomorrow with having do a bit of shopping (and visit the bus stop) in the morning and the mediacsl appointment tomorrow. I have only been waiting for that for three years. If it is decided to operat on my eye I dont know how much longer I will have to wait. As it comes under plastic surgery (it isnt cosmetic) probably another 3 years.Have a peaceful night all.2

This week is not being an easy one health wise. Trip to the hospital went well but tiring. I am now on the waiting list for the tendon in my eyelid to be shortened slightly so my eye open better. Lots of risks to it the main one being my eyelids will rise to different levels but with myasthenia they do that anyway depending on how I am so that doesnt matter really. Today I went to collect my script (at last). They had part of it but the one I am out of is still out of stock so I will just have to put up with the consequence of not having it. I enquired about having my meds delivered but the assistant was very obstructive so will ask again next time I go. I cheated and got a taxi home as I was shattered. It is only about quarter of a mile but part of it is up a hill and I just couldnt face it.Tomorrow I am going to see my BiL so another long day and I will not have a lift home as the car is at the paintshop so will get a taxi as I will be bringing more stuff home to sell. I will be glad whenl this week is over.I did a bit of shopping this morning - having to do it in small trips due to lack of transport. I would have got more as I had the taxi but didnt decide until I was out of the shop. The good bits - another £10 to the loan, remembered to use veg water for the gravy, remebering to refill the kettle after making a cup of tea and only filling it with what I need for the next hot drink, no hoovering so that saved electricity ( I never thought I would have such a good excuse to avoid housework) unfortunately had to do a load of washing but that should be that until next week. Mr LH picked blackberries today a the recent rain has improved them no end so he will be able to make his blackberry vodka for next years festivals. An early night tonight as tomorrow will start at about 5.30am so have a peaceful evening..2

I've got my blackberry & apple gin stewing away on the kitchen dresser atm, @ladyholly. It's a very seasonal activity, I always think & I like to have it ready & bottled by Christmas.

I am not mentioning your gin to Mr LH or that will be the next thing but it sounds nice. I dont really drink except a celebratory glass of fizzy wine for birthdays, Christmas etc.Did nothing when I got home last night except do a fry up. Normally when I have been away its takeaway from the chippy but with no car that didnt happen. Today I have a parcel to post in theory but with the postal strilke I will leave it until either Saturday or Monday.More stuff brought from my BiL. Nothing with much value but it all helps.I will start listing later. Nothing much else planned so I will see how the day pans out..

Sorry you've had a challenging week with your health.
Good luck with the listings."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Well plans for listing went awry and I have acheived precisely nothing today. We have even had a takeaway tea. Yes the car is home and is looking good. I am feeling a bit better and with a decent nights sleep will hopefully be ok tomorrow. One bit of good news is that my tablets are at the pharmacy so can be collected tomorrow.

Sorry been absent for a couple of days but nothing happening. Until today when I had a phone call to say I have an appointment for the operation on my eye.October 23rd. Unfortunately it not at the eye hosptal but in one of the communityhospitals so it will take about 3 hours and 2 buses to get there. I dont know how long I will be there so it isnt practical for Mr LH to take me but he will pick me up.Mr H had a vet appointment and he is doing ok at the moment.£30 in the loan account and if I pay in another £30 then I think that will be another month paid off. That will mean after this months payment goes through there will only be 2 more payments so the loan will end in November 2022 instead of December 2024.Nothing happening on ebay but I think people may be thinking of other things at the moment.Anyway nothing else to say. Have a quiet evening.3

That’s brilliant the loan will be paid off well ahead of schedule 😃 It’s a shame your eye op isn’t at a nearby hospital but on the plus side you’re getting it done next month.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
