Well done on the exercises.  I hope all the stress with the house ends soon so you can relax a bit more.

We're 3 weekly - you do get used to it.  We use the neighbours as a reminder, but generally, if you tend to produce similar amounts of rubbish each collection you can tell when it's due.

    Evening all

Walking exercise done first thing and usual kitchen clearing dishwasher emptying etc.

Out first thing - well 8.50am to go to the PO to post the last parcel from the weekend. Hurray I dint think it was going to be paid for but it was. I also got some new sticky tape for parcels and some courgette seeds. I also found some oasis for my Christmas decotions. I havent been able to do any for a couple of years as I couldnt get any locally and by the time I thought about it it was getting to late to order on line. Anyway I was just leaving the shop after getting my seeds and there it was on the shelf so went back in and queued again to pay for it. Oh yes I also bought a Jo Nesbo book at the charity shop from my personal spends.

I am hoping I might be a bit more successful with the garden this year as due to circumstances it all went pear shaped last spring. My tomatoes seem to be doing well on the bedroom window cill. There is even a srawberry seed poking its head up.

Mr LH is enjoying the cameras at my bil as he can watch what is going on in the garden. No two legged visitors thank goodness but he has seen a rat (oh joy), a fox and a deer. The fence needs serious repairs but that is not going to happen and the deer are helping to keep the greenery in check.

Bank account checked but as I paid cash for everything nothing had changed since last night.

No reply from the solicitor but I live in hope and it may be he will have to wait as I also asked him to see if the house buyers want the windows repaired. If they are planning on demolishing the house there doesnt seem much point but it is up to them. I would obviously rather not have the hassle and the £380 bill but it is up to them. I would rather that if they want them replaced they do it and send me the bill as it might be cheaper with them being developers.

Bear has hurt Mr LHs arm again where he has yanked him so I walked him on my own. Funny I walk Bear twice a day and although he pulls like a tractor at time he has never hurt hurt me.

I need to go to the sm in the next day or two to get milk but am hopeful of a morning at home tomorrow so I can get some other things done.

    Have a good evening.

Wildlife watching through the cameras sounds lovely (maybe not so much the rat!).

    Well done on the walking.

    Evening all.

An interesting morning in that I had a text from the environment agency tell me we are at risk of flooding but it wasnt a flood warning. The odd thing is according to their own website we are at very low risk of flooding so now I am slightly confused. We have never been flooded or got anywhere near it. We dont even get puddles on the pavement at the front or back of the house.

I have at last got the registration document (V5C) for the scooter with my registration number on it. I dont have to have number plates but it does have to be registered. Its only taken them 3 months.

3 loads of washing done including my winter coat. I have been waiting for a warm day to do it and it was dry by lunchtime.

Lounge dusted and hoovered. Other housework things completed.

I have had a reply from the solicitor and he is going to chase the purchasers solicitor. I am hoping the delay is because they are waiting for the dig results as I know they would like to buy my bit of land but I dont know how they would play with the other sellers.  We will see. I seem to have spent the last 11months waiting for other people to do things.

Sitting exercise done. Only 15 minutes but I have decided the walking one is a bit hard on my knees and hips but hoping that will change as it only been 4 days.

Have a good evening and weekend

Out to buy milk this morning. Just milk? Not a chance but what I bought we needed either this week or next.

Had a long phone call with dd. She told me that dgd has saved £1000 in the last couple of months which considering she has a minimum wage job is excellent going. I did remind dd she has always been reluctant to spend money and apparently her ex boyfriend was quite money savvy. I think dd was so surprised as she is somewhat scatterbrained or as dd put it a ditsy blonde.

Mr LH is getting down again as we have heard nothing re the house from the buyers solicitor so I emailed the estate agent and apprently there is some progress but it is slow going. On the other hand dig is going well and so far the pipe is deep enough (as long as Southern Water dont change the goal post) however they have found the pipe doesnt follow the line S W said it did so they are having to do a survey. I dont know what impact that may have on the developers plans so I am back to waiting. It is so frustrating to be at the mercy of others and only getting second hand information.

Bank account checked and a money shuffle done leaving sufficient in the current account to pay the council tax on the 1st April. Water rates dont start until May.  Meter readings done so that gone to the utility company. I do wish Mr LH would agree to a smart meter as it would save a lot of hassle.

Nothing else for now so have a good evening.

Out to finish off shopping first thing. Was very naughty and bought 2 books as well - there has to be some joy in my life at the mnoment.

While I was shopping the conveyancing solicitor rang to ask how much of a reduction we were prepared to make so as not to have to repair the doors and windows. Discussed and came up with a figure but said we were prepared to negotiate if needed. Quite honestly with all the hassle I am almost at the stage of giving it to them. Only almost!!

On return home I rang the car insurance company and insured the scooter. This is something I should have done before but have only just got around to it. The money is coming out of the car pot but dont tell Mr LH. :D

Nothing else to report. Have a good evening.
