Good luck with the listings, and lovely that you've made friends with the pup!

Not doing anything is the trick here too.

Just been having a read of your diary, you are doing well with your sales, wish we had jumble trails where I live!

This will be the third year they have done one but I am hoping this one will be better. There arent many houses take part near me and as I am limited with how far I can walk I dont get to see much but I will try. The map wont be out until just before it runs at the end of the month so we will see how it goes.

I love the jumble trails too, I wish someone would organise one in our area, I'd love to take part in one.

If you werent so busy I would suggest you organise one yourself. I live in an area where there are a fair number of retired people who have plenty of time. Mr LH wont let me have a table outside. He says its common and he doesnt want people to see our rubbish. he is such a snob sometimes. so I content myself with going to others. Strange he never minded us doing car boot sales until I could no longer  do them.

I have washed and dried the blankets from the bed this morning. I loathe duvets as they always fall off. However as its still very hot thats all I have managed to do. I am about to do a bit more listing as I brought back a pile of craft magazines from my BiL that he wants to get rid of. They were my sisters and she was a bit of a hoarder.

Not sure what we are eating this evening as Mr LH only wanted a sandwich last night and possibly the same tonight. He eats very little in the hot weather.

Watering left to do plus walking the dogs later on and thats it for the day.  I am so hoping the weather is more bearable tomorow as I sitting here literally dripping. Sorry too much information.

    Have a pleasant evening all.

I have thought about it!  But, yes the time and organising it would be too much.  I think they generally work quite well when they are raising money for charity.  I might suggest it to the school as a fundraising option.

Your comment about Mr LH made me smile as my mum used to say it was common to eat or drink in the street. To this day I still won’t do this her words echo in my head 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

My FiL used to say that too. I dread to think what he would have said now when there are so many people with food and drink in the street :D

Woo Hoo. We had rain yesterday so no watering the garden. It was also  a fair bit cooler but  quite humid. Today the forecast is for thundery showers at times so hopefully no watering again. The rain has been perfect for the ground as it has been quite light so is not bouncing off the dry ground but gradually dampening it.

Went to the PO to post my parcels and managed to miss the bus going so had to wait for the next one, only 20 minutes but annoying however I still manged to get my usual bus home. If it had been cooler I would have walked but so muggy I couldnt face it.

We have had Mr H to the vet yesterday again as his back legs are still collapsing. She gave him a really good examination and some different tablets to take alonside his others. I think he will start rattling with the number of tablets he is now taling - 8 a day. Not bad for a 25kg dog.  The new tablets work on the brain and are making him a bit wobbly at the moment (this should wear off) so we cant let him go upstairs in case he falls. He normally sleeps in the bedroom so things will be a bit different.

Mr LH is still not  eating - only a sandwich for dinner again, he doesnt have lunch as he is in bed until then and only has supper sometimes. Its no wonder he is a bean pole.

Nothing really planned for today other than shopping this afternoon so I think a nice morning pottering in the garden and kitchen catching up on things that I couldnt do during last weeks heat wave.

    Have a good day all.
