You've got plenty of evidence that you had passed the car on, presumably you have correspondence from the leasing company as well as the DVLA, so hopefully you'll be ok."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". The police reckon if the car driver does something wrong it could get a bit messy. Anyway I have spent ages this evening emailing or writing letter to everyone I can think of to try to sort this out up to and including the ceo of dvla. I am very annoyed that there isnt even a note at dvla that he died. What is the poinbt of tellng people if they ignore it.Anyway Evening all.I was feeling good this morning so did the ironing - a job I loathe and there were several shirts from Mr LH., I cleaned the second scooter and took some photos ready to put on Marketplace and then cleaned the lounge before the dust got too thick. Mr LH has been complaining of hayfever but I am wondering if its a dust allergy. I am not going to mention it or I will never hear the end of it.Bear has had his flea and tick treatment and I must remember to get some more as he has run out.A couple of sales today and there are bids on a couple more which will end on Sunday.Did a money shuffle at the bank and no money spent.I hope everyone has hadd a good day.5

What a blooming nightmare with the car as well as the alarm 🤬 You really don’t need all this stress.I hope you’re able to get a decent night’s sleep despite all this.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Evening allAn awful nights sleep so felt horrible when g but have gradually improved during the day but the warm muggy weather is back which doesnt help me at all.Parcels posted along with letters to DVLA. Not at all money saving as I sent them all special delivery so they couldnt claim they hadnt arrived. Of course what happens to them after that is another matter. I hope at least one of them has the desired effect.I tried doing amost all Bears walk with the scooter today (Mr LH usually walks him along the pavements). and he was brilliant. If I use it when Mr LH is away we will have to go a slightly different as there is a turn and an immediate road crossing with a steep slope which is a bit dodgy and to have Bear anxious to be going and pulling I can see me and the scooter going flying. I think there is an alternative way which will be safer for me and Bear that we can use and still do ,ost of his usual route. Being a nervous dog he prefers familiar places. We are going to try it tomorrow and if it works I will be able to use the scooter when mr LH is away next week.Beds changed today and sheets and towels washed. No secure field for bear this week as the weather forecast is giving hot and sunny weather on Monday and Tuesday. Mr LH goes away Wednesday. I will check again tomorrow but not hopeful.I am about halfway through a Patricia Cornwell book that I found at my Bils and aam enjoying it. I had forgotten how good I think they are so off now to carry on reading it while Mr LH is watching yet another airplane documentary.I hope your viewing is better than mine.7

I like Patricia Cornwell, though the later books sometimes get a little ridiculous. I still read and enjoy them though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Evening all. Managed to get my book finished before a dreadful nights lack of sleep as it was far too warm. I was all resdy to leave for the PO this morning with 6 parcels when there was some thunder. I dont like thunder but Bear likes it even less so plans changed and went this afternoon with Mr LH and did the shopping at the same time.I will have to go again tomorrow as I have had another sale. I do still have two items sold but not paid for so I can see them being cancelled. I have sent a reminder because I am not patient when people dont pay or message me if there is a legitimate reason for non payment.Managed Bears walk using the scooter all on my own. It isnt easy but it can be done so that will be better while mr LH is away.Nothing done today as I have been so hot. I am really looking forward to the cooler weather as I am sure I will feel much better. Sorry to those who live for the sun.Have a good evening.4

Well done on all your sales, that's brilliant!
Great that you managed the scooter walk with Bear by yourself even if not ideal, that's reassuring to know you can do it2 -
Being able to use the scooter when you take Bear out sounds like it will really be helpful when MrLH is away.
you are very productive with your sales!2 -
Well done on the sales. I'm also very impatient with people who don't pay. It's just rude!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Evening allYesterday was getting Mr LH off to his festival and then relaxing. First thing I had to go to the PO to post the items that hadnt been paid for only to find it was shut for the second day running due to internet problems. Not amused as I then had to geta taxi to the nexte nearest one and home again. Unfortunately I couldnt delaty sending the parcels as I was on my time limit. Spent the afternoon chilling and reading.Today I swept the driveway while the car is away and then cleaned the carpets in the lounge and conservatory. I cant tell how well they have come up until I can look in daylight tomorrow but may well have to do them again. When I had finished the carpets wentto unload the washing machine to find a load of very wet washing that hadnt rinsed so did that by hand an put it on the airer in the garden to drip. Fortunately it has been dry until about 6.30 so it has at least stopped dripping everywhere. The machine is over 15 years old so will buy a new one. I am also considering a dishwasher as mine broke several years ago but due to washing machine seemingly getting very slightly larger I think it will have to be a slimline one. Should be enough as there are ony 2 of us and I cant stand for long to cook these days so not huge amounts of washing up. I will get Mr LH to check the measurement when he gets home. He wont trust mine anyway.Just before I was due to take Bear out I noticed an email from the solicitor which needed my signature witness on yet another form. As he is on holiday for a couple of weeks it was urgent so dashed round to a friend to do the witness thing and then he took me to the PO to post it special delivery.Eventually got to take Bear out only to realise Ithe power on the scooter was very low . I cut his walk slightly short as it was quite hot and only just made it back to put the scooter away before it died. It is on charge now so should be fine for tomorrow. With one thing and another I havent got done the things I was intending to do so will try tomorrow.Well thats my day. I hope yours hasnt been as annoying,6
