Spent £49 in Mr T this afternoon and when I got home I realised I hadnt got food for the little. I am going into town tomorrow so will get it then as we are on the last tray. The shopping is far too much but I am seeking ways to lessen it. I always find summer (is it summer?) more difficult as so of the food Mr LH eats is quite heavy and even when its not warm he doesnt want stews etc.Had a horrible trip to the pharmacy to collect my prescription which was ordered over a week ago. There was a very long queue, then it wasnt ready and they only had half of one of the tablets. Not amused as a half hour visit to collect 3 items is ridiculous. I had told the man behind me that there is always a problem with my script and when he realiised I was right he just smiled at me. I now have to go again to collect the rest of the tablets they hadnt got. It will be next week so I wonder if they will be ready.I have a real problem in the pharmacy if I have to be in there too long as the lights are stupidly bright and they really affect my eyes so the lids droop and I have to hold my head back so I can see where I am going - the affect of myasthenia. I try to remember to take sunglasses but I forgot as it is a dull day. I reckon they could halve their lighting and still see perfectly well.Sorry I am in a moaning frame of mind.3

Happy WednesdayNothing to report money saving as I bought 3 new cushion pads this morning.to replace the feather filled ones I had. I took the covers off and ended up with a floor full of feathers.the vacuum cleaner dealt with those and we now dont have feathers sticking nto us when we sit down. I also got the little ones food that I forgot yesterday.Very lazy day as a lousy nights sleep and going into town wiped me out. I am beginning to think a london trip is out but I will try working my way up to it.Showery today so no watering needed tonight.Economy ways happening are only putting enough water in the kettle for whatever we are doing, turning plugs off at the socket etc. Nothing more for now.2

Mr LH woke me at 1.30am this morning to tell me the little one kept wanting to go out to eat grass and had been sick on the front door mat. I got up to clear the mess while he took her out again. On my way down stairs I somehow missed the bottom stair and fell hitting my head on the radiator in the hall. They are very hard let me tell you. Did the clearing up and went back to bed. This morning I felt dizzy and somewhat spaced out so rang 111. Their advice was take parcetamol and the GP would be in touch within 3 working days. If anything gets worse ring an ambulance, I think I would do better to get a taxi as we live in the area with the worst response time.Anyway I have felt pretty grim all day so nothing done except the usual routine things. On the bright side I havent spent anything. I have spent some time on ebays web chat as they now have 2 factor logginng on which means they text my phone with a code. Unfortunately I discovered I had omitted them when I changed my number. Hopefully that will be sorted in the next 72 hours. They did say they have had a lot of people with the same problem. I am glad its not just me. I am curious to know why everything takes 3 days to sort out.Anyway an early night tonight and hope my headache has gone tomorrow and I feel a bit better.1

MIA for a couple of days as I havent felt at all well after my head collided with the radiator. My ebay account is all sorted and very efficiently on their part. Just as well as when I got back into my account I had sold a couple of books so they were posted yesterday. I also called at Mr S as Mr LH wanted a bottle of vodka and some strawberries to make strawberry vodka for his last festival this year. Did very little other than that as I felt quite unwell.Today I have made a new meat ball sauce which went well and have had my 4th covid jab. I have to say it wasnt as efficient as last time but i suspect there are fewer volunteers to help.I am about to start revising my items on ebay as some of them have been listed for quite some time so we will see what changing things does. Sometimes it works.1

Another parcel posted this morning and £20 put into the loan account which brought the remaining time down to 7months so with continuing sales and the save the change account we are on track to pay the loan by the end of the year.Shopping was vey expensive this morning and I still have to go to Mr T tomorrow. so not happy. Hopefully that wont be too expensive.Mr LH had a melt down this this afternoon when he was trying to update his bank card og G***G***. It has to be verified with the bank but as he wont have internet baqnking we had to ring them. His security with them wasnt sufficient for them to verify it over the phone so they wanted him to go in to branch prove who he is. He was not happy at this so I had an idea. They will accept pay pal so we went on paypal and guess what he didnt know the password. Sorted that out then they wanted to send the text to his old phone number and then we were back in the scenario that he has to prove who he is. I then had another bright idea! Use my card which can be verified. Success. I should add that the paypal account is in my name but I never use it as I have another one for ebay.He is now in the process of getting internet banking. The joke is he wouldn have it because he doesnt trust it but the only twice there have been unauthorised payments they have been on his card. After all that I was exhausted because guess who had to do it all.Took the dogs out after the fiasco and Mr H collapsed on his back end, he recovered quite quickly and was fine after that but we were a bit shocked at the time. We think he twisted awkwardly and caught a nerve. All in all an exciting day (for us).1

Agghhh. Just as I was looking at the end of the loan Mr LH has announced that the car has to have a respray. Admittedly the sun has got to it badly and the car is 24years old but to just throw it at me me with no warning was a shock to say the least. I have told him to go out tomorrow and get some quotes so at least then I know what we are looking at.On the good side I have had another tiny sale and we didnt go shopping. I said I would go by bus tomorrow as I dont need a lot having done a fair bit yesterday. That way we save on diesel and my fare is free.I am now going to recover from the shock of the respray.1

Oh dear to the re-spray. Hopefully the costs will be reasonable but being so unexpected it's irritating.
you'll find a way !2 -
MIA again but I really havent been too good. The bang on my head is still sore although I the lump has gone down. The heat is also not good for me. The medication I take makes you feel hotter so that is not helpful in a heat wave and being fair the sun is not good. The car is booked in for its partial respray in September so thats just under a thousand pounds I could do without spending. In addition there is nothing happening with ebay so no extra going into the loan account at the moment. It is all rather depressing. We have decided we are staying at a Prmeier Inn in Southampton for the wedding and just crossing for the day of the wedding as it will be cheaper. Nothing else at present and the little on needs to go out.1
