Evening allHooray the weather has been lovely today so got some gardening done. Things have been sadly neglected over the last two or three weeks. Unfortunately I havent managed to cut the grass in the front and it is due to rain tomorrow so if that happens it wont get done.A trip to the sm as I forgot to get milk for Mr LH and then realised I needed to get his cigarettes as the buses are a Sunday service on Monday which is only hourly so I would be waiting ages to get home.I have had a couple of sales tonight and am just waiting for payment. There is no rush as they wont be posted until Tuesday.Bear was not a good boy on his walk pulling really badly. He always does when we first go out but usually calms fairly quickly. Today he didnt and I was shattered when we got home. I only take him the first bit and then Mr LH takes over thank goodness.Still think about the AA form. I must get on with it as I want it out of the way or it will become worse and worse in my mind.Mr LH asked when we are doing a tip run so I pointed out that as he is the driver he must decide when he wants to go so Wednesday it is. We dont go at the weekend or on bank holidays as it is too busy and Tuesday is shopping day and it gives a day for those who are like us and avoid bank holidays and weekends to go. Hopefully it wont be too busy.Thats been my day so I will say Have a nice evening.3

Evening all.It has been a beautiful day today until about 6.30pm just in time for me to put the recycling boxes out for tomorrow morning.I have carried on with the AA form and have almost finished it so that will be out of the way. I wont send it yet as I always think it looks a bit odd if you return them too quickly plus I need this months prescription to send.I am astounded mr LH has thrown some of his stuff out or at least put it ready to go to the tip. Only 1 boxful but it is a start. Just a whole room and a half to goI weighed myself this morning to find although I have put weight back on it isnt as disasterous as I expected.A little bit of path weeding done. They pop up overnight I amsure.3 parcels packed to post in the morning and I think thats my bank holiday.Take care and have a pleasant evening4

Evening allWell today has eneded on an energetic note. Bear escaped while we were loading the car to go to the tip tomorrow. It has taken us about 45 minutes to get him back. He went to to where we usually take him for a walk and we just couldnt catch him. He totally ignores all calls under those circumstances although he comes really well at home. It wouldnt be too much of a problem but he tried to fight a nervous collie and terrified the poor thing. He is now home safe and seems very pleased with himself. We are not so pleased but at least it wasnt me that lleft the gate open. I am now shattered although it was mr LH that did most of the chasing. On a more sensible note 3 parcels psted and I have now sold something else so will have to go out tomorrow.to post it. Weekly shop done and put away. Nothing else for tonight as I am having trouble breathing.
Have a good night.

What a drama with Bear!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Evening allA day with less drama toma as Bear has stayed firmly at home except for his planned walks. It was actually a friend that managed to grab him in the end. He did look very pleased with himself when he got home but has a bit of a limp today. He isnt bothered when his leg is touched so we think he has either pulled a muscle with all the running and doging us or the collie he tried to fight grabbed his leg (mr LH says there was a lump of Bears hair on the pavement) grabbed his leg and has bruised it. Anyway I dont think a vet appointment is needed unless it goes on.I didnt get to the PO this morning which has actually proved to be handy as I had another sale today so both will be posted tomeorrow.I had a lovely card from some I had written to about my bils death and they included a couple of postage stamps as "postage is so expensive" which I thought was a lovely gesture. This morning I cleaned the fridge out and and the deep fat fryer, polished the lounge furniture, finished loading the car car ready to go to the tip and hoovered the conservatory - well the middle of it anyway. Tip run done this afternoon and that was me done for the day.Money shuffle completed today as my monthly pension has hit my account. A day late but I hadnt even thought about the date and have not checked the bank account for a few days. Hangs head in shame.Thats it for today so Have a peaceful evening.5
