Completely normal to feel hit hard by someone dying regardless of their age or circumstance.
And so much of your recent life has been seeing him and helping him clear things, so that's a very disconcerting jolt too, to be travelling to his but not seeing him and clearing things but suddenly it's his things.
It's only been a week and a half since he died and you've got so much done and in progress. Make sure to give yourself permission to have breaks too, for grieving or relaxing5 -

Evening allI had several sales over the weekend so happy about that. Dont laugh but we have a new TV. The ones we brought back from bil were all small ones and our big one actually died when my dd was dog sitting last Wednesday. I did order it from AO and it arrived this lunchtime. Mr LH has it working as a TV but hasnt set up the rest of it yet.I am still waiting for the solicitor to ring so will be ringing him first thing tomorrow morning. I havent even been able to instruct him properly yet so am not happy. If he doesnt shift himself I will take my business elsewhere. Thanks to my bil I now have a TV in the bedroom which I havent had before. Its only freeview but better than nothing.I am struugling with my breathing at the moment possibly due to stress not helped nby Mr LH this evening. I was putting out the recycling and rubbish and he came out to feed the fish and went straight back in without offering aany help. I didnt even get chance to ask for help he was that quick. I did ask him to do it once after my eye op and he "forgot". He remembered the following afternoon when he saw peoples empty boxes out . Fortunately I had done it anyway.I did have to spend money on post today so not a no spend day but only that and of course Mr LHs cigarettes while i was out.I think thats sums up my day so have a good evening.3

Evening allI have at last managed to make an appointment to see the solicitor. Not until the week after next unfortunately as the train unions are on strike again next week but at least there is some progress. I have spent time today replying to people who have been in touch as a result of my letter re bil which has taken ages as I am not a fast typist and in case you havent noticed am very inaccurate.Shopping done this afternoon which came out as very expensive so not happy about that. The TV is working ok but as yet we havent got all the extras that come with a smart TV so that is a project for Mr LH after I go to bed.Tomorrow dd and I are going to see Hamilton in Bristol. UI am not sure about it and I dont know anyone who has seen it so we will see. I think it is appropriate I am the theatre as bil is being cremmated tomorrow and he loved the theatre. In case anyone wonders he had a prepaid plan for a direct funeral and didnt want anyone there so I am abiding by his wishes but will be thinking of him.My breathing is still not good and the arthritis in my legs is up and down but not as bad as last week when I had been travelling for hours. My eating and sleeping is still not good but hopefully I will be able to get back into that very soon.Nothing else worthy of reporting so I will say have a good evening.1

I hope you enjoy the theatre. You need some time for yourself1

Evening allI enjoyed Hamilton but its no9t one I would go and see again but I am glad I have seen it. It was lovely having a good chat with dd on the bus as it takes about an hour each way. I did think of my bil quite a lot whilst there.Today has been very social sociable as a couple of friends have called for coffee. One arrived as the other left so a very sociable afternoon. The first friend brought her grandson who is just a year old and Bear was so good with him and seemed intrigued by a small human. No money spent today but I have had a small sale so will post tomorrow. I have also filled in the form to redirect bils mail to me as we will only be at the house evry couple of weeks so I can get anything urgent to deal with. That will cost £76 for 12 months so not a cheap thing to do. I am doing 12 months so it covers Christmas in cas I have missed anyone in my letters. I have had some lovely replies to those from people who knew eithe my sister or bil.Just to add to the fun I have also received the renewal form for my attendance allowance. It is a typical DWP form needing a lot of thought on what and how to answer so it will be done gradually.I think thats todays news so have a good evening all.3
