Incredibly frustrating. Public transport is no longer a service sadly.
How is your eye? You seem to be back to doing a lot very quickly3 -
My eye is fine thank you. I now have decent distant vision with no blurriness. My night vision is still poor and the street lights all have halo's but I can manage well enough for taking Bear out.
Yes public transport is diabolical.i can't even blame them for the route changes as they have come from the council who would rather have buses on the less used roads than straight down the main road to town. Another service that was privatised and has got worse.4 -
Evening allAnother cold and windy day. We had some sun this afternoon but still too cold to do much outside. I am desperate to cut our grass but the ground squelches if you step on it and having just checked the forecast it doesnt look as though it will dry any time soon. The first dry day will be the 4th April. It will take some time after that to dry if it doesnt start raining again. I think by that time I will need to scythe it.In the garden the plants are dong ok. Spinach is coming up and there is the first sign of some rocket. Courgettes are ore ok and I think cauliflowers may be on their way. No sign of chard yet. In the bedroom the yellow courgettes and cucumbers seem happy and I think some more tomatoes are going to pop their heads through any time,Another very lazy day with a book. I finished the Clive Cussler last night and have started an Ann Cleeves today. I have cleaned round the kitchen and cooked a roast dinner but thats about it.Meals Lunch - scrambled egg and b&b, dinner roast chicken, cauliflower, carrots, brussel sprouts.Snacks yoghurt and grapes.7

I like Ann Cleeves too, and lazy day with books are the best days."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

I got a lovely surprise when I took Bear out last evening. My next door neighbour has cut our grass.
We didnt hear her at all so possibly we were asleep. I must try to see her to thank her.
