    Evening all.

Can someone tell me why Wessex water feel the need to spend money adverting on TV uthey are spending 3million ponds on storm overflows. We all know the work needs doing and to spend our money advertising is ridiculous. I assume the cost of this will be added to the increase in water bills. God forbid the payout to shareholders will be affected.

Thats today rant over except when I went shopping this afternoon I bought some grapes (hooray at last). On opening they are going very soft and brown and are very unpleasant. As I only visit that supermarket once a week I am not happy so have complained. I have no idea if I will get anywhere but am quite annoyed. My plan for buying one hot cross bun has to  nothing as the baker didnt have any so I have bought a pack of 4 from the sm and put them straight in the freezer. It will be very hard work not to eat them all at once but I will try to spread them out.

I have been to our local high street this morning and got a couple of books. I also bought some larger pots for the tomatoes as I realised I wont have enough. I dont use grow bags as firstly I have nowhere to put them (pots can be put in small corners) and secondly as they are only used once it seems rather a waste of money.

Clean suite covers have been put back on in the conservatory - no ironing needed.

Weighed myself but no change from last week. :/

Meals. Breakfast - oats & fruit, lunch salad, tuna, mnayo and b&b, dinner - Pork chop, leeks, broccoli, sweet potato, stuffing and apple sauce. Snacks yoghurt and grapes (yuk)

    Have a good evening

I too would be annoyed about the water co advertising.  It isn't like anyone has any choice about which one they use.  So what is the point.  Unless they are trying to keep & get more investers.  Personally I think they should all be fined enough to declare themselves bankrupt & then re-nationalised without compensation, especially for the foreign owners.  And Maggie Thatcher was made a Lady!!!

I agree. All the utilities , transport companies should be renationalised but I doubt it will happen.

Just to mention as an aside.  She was the reason for my first arguement with my ex-husband.  He thought she was great because she was going to reduce basic rate tax.  I told him if she did she would have to put up another tax instead.  He didn't believe me but she put up VAT anyway.  Cost us way more than the income tax reduction, what a shock.  He really did not like me being right.

If enough of them go bankrupt there may be no choice.  Just as long as they keep their debts because we have paid enough already.
