Happy Valentines day to all. I hope you are feeling the love. We ignore it totally because it is our anniversary in a couple of week. Its our dd and sil anniversary tomorrow They deliberately avoided Valentines day) and they are off to see Les Miserable in London. They are both working this evening and havent packed, dd didnt know what time their train is or how to get to the hotel but is sure it will be fine. SiL bookred the hotel and train. She is different to me in this respect as I woud have had everything planned by this morning.

Busy this morning as i have cleaned the patio window and frame which badly needed it and for me it was hard work, also scrubbed the coffee stain from Bears Sunday exploit. It seems to be gradually going but will need doing at  least once more. I have also finished sorting out all our paperwork and moving it to the drawer unit. The bottom of my wardrobe is now available for shoes, boots etc without them being piled up.

For the third day running Bear was pretty good on his lunchtime walk without too much pulling except when we first went out which is excitement. I just hope this continues as it makes life easier and the muscles in my arms may finally stop hurting.

No money spent today but a book I ordered a couple of days ago on the history of China has arrived and from a quick look will be interesting. The only problem I can see is its a heavy book and it might be too heavy to read in bed. I will finish my existing book first and then get on to it.

Food today Breakfast - oats and fruit, lunch -  Houmas and salad, b & b. Dinner lamb chop, peas, sweet potato, cabbage and sprouts. Snacks some fat free natural yoghurt and grapes oh yes and part of Bears banana. Bear stole a piece of bread which I foolishy left at the front of the work top while I did something else. I really should know better.

Right off now to carry on with my reading for a few minutes before the repair shop on TV. Have a good night especially anyone celebrating Valentines day.

I think actually you have had a good week, because despite the challenges you have got straight back to it, and have identified areas where you can look for alternative solutions.
Thank you. You are right of course.

I confess it would drive me mad if I was going away, even just overnight, not to know exactly where, when & what I was taking.  But I have a friend who would just say well come on what is the problem.  Wouldn't life be boring though if we were all the same.

Well dd and sil have managed to reach their hotel in London and have found the theatre so all seems to be fine. I will ring on Saturday to get the low down  as I dont know what time they will be back tomorrow.

I had to do a little bit of shopping for things I either forgot or refused to pay the price at Mr T. When I got home I prepared a "sniffari" for Bear. For anyone who doesnt know I hide treats all round the garden while he is in the house and he has to find them. It keeps him busy for a few minutes as he has to check around several times in case he has missed one. Nothing much else done today as still somewhat weary.

So only a short one tonight. Meals Breakfast - oats and fruit, lunch - baked beans and bread and butter, dinner - tuna salad and snacks the usual grapes and a shared banana.

    Have a good evening.

That's a very productive day!  Hope you are feeling ok today.

Good news about the coat getting looser, and I agree, treat yourself to some new bedding.

Today has not been as productive but I did spend about three quarters of an hour throwing a ball for Bear and only got it in the pond once and then it bounced out on the netting. We did stop from time to time so he wasnt running too much. Odd bits of cleaning done and my bed changed, the bedding washed as was the bedspread. Old fashioned me has sheets and blankets as I loathe duvets with a passion. I am hoping the bedspread willbe dry by the time I go to bed but probably not. I have also moved aMr LHs large toolbox, a box of car paints, another tray of tools, some anti freeze and oil from the conservatory so that I may be able to clean in there. The 2 removable kitchen units from the van are still in there and probably will be until his first festival which isnt until the end of May.The first job will be to wash the covers on the suite in there as Bear has been sitting out there so they are covered in hair and very dirty from muddy paws.

Bear is not happy tonight as there is a firework display on our pier which was cancelled from November due to high winds. We are quite a long way away from the seafront but it still very audible. I would add it is pouring with rain so I cant imagine there will be many watching although I could see some of them from my bedroom window while I was putting some of the washing away.

Meals today: breakfast - oats and raspberrys, lunch - bowl of salad and then scrambled egg and b & b, dinner gammon, boiled potato, broccoli, carrots and sweet potato. Snacks yoghurt and grapes. I have felt very hungry all day so I have had a whole banana as well as a couple of bites of Bears.

I have made a start on the book of the history of China and so far it is interesting do off now to continue reading it.  Have a good evening.
