Happy Monday! Posted 2 of the parcels but one wasnt paid until lunchtime so that will go tomorrow. when I will need to go into town to get some bacon. I am very impressed with my 99p chickens as it has done dinner for 2 yasterday and today plus lunch today and there is plenty left for lunch tomorrow. I usually pay about £3.50 - £4.00 for one that does one meal less. I also took some more books to the charity shop. I spent ages sorting out the file for all the car paperwork. Not only is there the usual stuff but Mr LH keeps every bill for anything he has bought for the car so there is a fair bit. It is now seperated into different sections and all put in date order. I am planning on doing the same for all the rest of the paperwork we have. I think some of it wil be a nightmare to sort.

Bear was a pain for Mr LH on his walk but really behaved well when I took over.  :D Wealso nearly met a German Shepherd but turned and walked away in the opposite direction and other than keeping an eys on it he was very good. His passport went to the vets to show evidence of him getting the blood test for Brucella Canis. It is now on his records.  If he needs the emergency vet I will have to remember to take it in case they query it as our vet doesnt do the out of hours visits.

Recycling is out ready for collection tomorrow but boy it is chilly this evening. Shame as its been a lovely sunny day and quite warm for February.

Meals today - Breakfast usual oats and fruit, Lunch - chicken salad, b & b and Dinner Chicken, small baked potato, peas, carrots and broccoli. Snack - grapes and a couple of spoonfuls of natural yoghurt as it was at the end of the pot and it had been open a few days. Weighing day tomorrow but I doubt I have lost anything after the bad time on Thursday. However usually a dya like that would have been enough to break any efforts but I have got straight back into the eating plan.

I think that the excitement for today. Have a peaceful night.

    Your chickens were a bargain!

You've done really well with the healthy eating, hope you have a result on the scale.

Happy Tuesday. Got soaked going to town to get Mr LHs bacon but I am going to see if a more local butcher has any decent bacon as he really doesnt like the supermarket ones. Its a shame Mr T has stopped selling the one he liked.I also bought some new gloves as I had lost one of my last pair of decent ones and the only other lightweight ones I had were falling apart . Parcel posted so something else out of the house.

Dusting on return home as it was getting to the stage you could write your name in it. For some reason this is a bvery dusty house not helped by most of our furniture being a mahogany colour. Big shop this afternoon when according to Mr T I saved £7.39. Absolutely shattered and in pain on my return home so have done nothing since except sort out a couple more files of paperwork. I have a plastic 4 drawer storage unit so am going to utilise that for all the paperwork which will mean I can have the bottom of my wardrobe back. I also realised we have not had the policy documents for Bears insurance so phoned up for that. I did stay with the existing company as there would have been a couple of pre existing conditions that wouldnt be covered if I changed. Nothing serious but if they got worse would be expensive to deal with amd I remebered there was a new customer deal for last year.

I weighed myself and have lost 1lb. Not great but at least its a loss. Meals today - Breakfast - Oats and fruit, lunch salad with the last bit of chicken and dinner baked potato with the very light soft cheese named after an American city with runner beans, carrots and broccoli and I have to confess a tiny bit of grated cheddar. Snacks grapes and a couple of spoons of fat free natural yoghurt.

I am now going to join Bear relaxing before taking him out for his evening walk.

Welcome to my rather boring diary and thank you. Mr LHs ears are still not right. The gp said give it 10 days which is tomorrow so I forsee another visit. It doesnt help that you never see the same one twice and they aall have their own ideas. I will have to see what he says and whether he has given up. His hearing is poor anyway due to tinitus which comes from a job testing burglar alarms in a small portacabin and not been given any ear protection. Unfortunaely the compay is now defunct so cant even get compensation.

I think actually you have had a good week, because despite the challenges you have got straight back to it, and have identified areas where you can look for alternative solutions.
