How awful for your friend, she must be so worried for her son 🙁 Mr SA also panics about our dog if she’s slightly off colour. The thing is with animals they can be off one day and perfectly fine the next.

Bear is nuch better this morning and has eatrn a hearty breakfast. I am sure our vet records have panicky owners on them. Mr LH always wants to take them as soon as they seem a bit off colour and wont wait to see if problems resolve themselves. Its a good job this happened at the weekend as he knows how much it costs to cross the vets doorstep out of hours.

Glad Bear is better this morning.

Sorry to hear about your friend's son, that is awful.

Hope Mr LH is better today as well.

I'm glad that Bear is feeling better. Hopefully Bear's recovery will mean that Mr LH will feel better too. Anxiety is awful to deal with - one of the side effects of my current nerve numbing painkillers is that they work for anxiety. I'd fight anyone who tried to take them off me. They mean that I've been able to let my 18 year old son have a social life without me going over every possible scenario of the awful things that could happen to him while he is out.

You are right anxiety is as crippling in many ways as a physical disability. Mr LH seems ok today but I am not asking him and putting the idea into his head. Thank you all for your good wishes for both Bear and my friend and her soon.

Today has been a better day. I have texted my friend to see how things are. I didnt want to phone in case she is at the hospital. I havent heard anything but I am sure I will when she is able. As I said earlier Bear is back to normal as is Mr LH.

I  have been on a weed hunt in the garden and did find some which are now in the garden bin. I also repotted some fuschias and popped them in the greenhouse for the winter. If it gets very cold I will bring them into the house but being in the west country we dont usually suffer too much. I have also moved some geraniums to a very sheltered spot net to the house. i dont know if they will survive but it is worth a try. I have covered the roots to keep them a bit less cold. They will also get any available sun.

The shopping list is almost done and will hopefully get to Aldi tomorrow morning as well as LIdl on the way home from Bears outing to his field.. I have a couple of bags for the charity shop after finishing sorting out my wardrobe and a small sale to go to the PO which should also leave the house in the morning.

Roast pork for dinner but no crackling. I think Tesco have changed their pork supplier as it isnt as nice as it used to be. This could also account for the lack of the bacon that mr LH likes.

Anyway off to finish my book which is a Clive Cussler although it is written by someone else. Not quite the same but still very readable.

I have been up since about 5am. I had forgoten to change the time on my alarm clock and Bear came and jumped on the bed. Thinking it was 6am I got up and then realised. By that time I was dressed so just started the day early. I will be shattered by tonight. :o

Well done on the sorting, the gardening and the sale!

Hope you don't feel too tired tonight.
