Glad the blood test is done. I hate getting taxis with a passion they are my nemesis 🤬

i dont mind getting taxis as its nice to chat to someone different but I hate the wait for them. I wish the supermarkets would replace the benches that were removed during covid.

Sounds like you had a productive day.  Maybe it's worth an email to the supermarket about the benches?  You can't be the only one that needs to wait for a taxi/lift.

Not a good Sunday pm as we have had to get the police involved in something that has ocurred. I cant say much on a public forum.but it has left me quite scared and unsettled. I dont know yet what the police will do and whatever it is whether there will be repurcussions from the perpetrator.

My friend phoned briefly to say she is returning home for a few days but the news from the hospital is not too good. Her son is still sedated and the infection is not shifting. She sounds exhausted and is only going home to give her some respite and he doesnt know if she is there or not so she is just sitting watching him. An awful situation for her as I think she will feel guilty not being here but she needs to looks after her own health as well.

The field we take Bear to was a mud bath today and I have had to wash our coats and Bear on our return. Having very poor balance it was a nightmare walking in it.

On the bright side another friend called in and we had a good natter over a cup of tea. I am now going to watch rich house poor house on my5.

It has been a sunny if breezy day today until about 6.30pm when it poured down. That stopped the fireworks that had been going off. Bear was happy about that even if he didnt know it.
A bit disappointe in the police today as despite being threatened on our own doorstep by a couple who are probably in their 30s and we are in our 70s we have heard nothing from them. I did stress that I was very scared but obviously they dont care about the elderly or they are very busy but since they are only referring it to the desk team and they have our email address even a quick message would have been nice. I was just told to dial 999 if anything happens but by that time we could have been assaulted and hurt. Peobably a bit dramatic but I cant help wondering.

On better news pension came in and money moved around as required, a new account opened with a good interest rate.Shopping done this afternoon and actually within budget for once but I will see how it goes for the rest of the month.

Ironing done this morning so thats out of the way for a couple of weeks.

Looking forward to tomorrow as i am going to see the nutcracker ballet with my dd. It is the same company that we saw doing swan lake last year and despite being a small company with young dancers were pretty good. Off now to watch the second half of rich house, poor house.

Not good, have you got a ring doorbell or something like that that can record your doorstep ? Could be used as evidence or even a just in case ..
