How did you live while on the course in not getting a loan?julie_gary said:for the course only it wasn't available for meWorking?Universal credit?
They claimed UC which is why they "didn't bother to check" if they were eligible for a loan.

Which isn't surprising as OP had repeatedly failed to reply to any questions asked. I'm out.elsien said:I am still unclear how the OP ascertained the loan wasn’t available to them.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.3 -
Correct, and the proof would be that you applied and were rejected. But you never applied, so how would you know that you were not eligible (that's a rhetorical question)Spoonie_Turtle said:
You are likely to need to give UC proof of this - e.g. that you investigated and weren't eligible - to stand a chance of them accepting that was the case.julie_gary said:for the course only it wasn't available for meStudents are only really able to claim UC where they have student funding. If you have student funding, it will be taken into account and deductions made to your UC award, and you will be placed into NWRR with no expectations of having to look for work. If you are eligible for student funding, but never applied, you will be treated as if you did apply as appears to be the case here.If you were truly not eligible for student funding, then you would remain in the AWRR regime and would be expected to look for work, but would likely be immediately sanctioned for not being available for work as you are at college. So either student income is deducted or you are not eligible for UC. Either way, you would not be entitled to a full UC award. Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter2 -

No one could really help because you didn't give clear information.julie_gary said:it dont matter il sort it i asked for advice tried to explain my situation and no one could help bye
Hopefully you'll be more forthcoming with UC so they can make whatever is the correct decision in your situation.4 -
julie_gary said:it dont matter il sort it i asked for advice tried to explain my situation and no one could help byeYou didn't give any information and the small amount you gave was drip fed slowly through out, which is why it's 4 pages long. You keep saying you claimed UC, yes we know that. People asked you questions but you didn't answer them. No one can help unless you answer them.4
