(Yes, I am feeling glad I instigated a switch when I did!)

Hope  you signed up with some kind of incentive, Topcashback were offering £65.50 dual fuel switch at the time
Wholesale price in last column is + vat to put things into some kind of context

I did precisely that  :). I nearly didn't bother checking as I didn't think any company would be offering cashback to switch right now, but as you say, they were! Checking now and this is no longer the case though.

Annual estimate for above  circa £9k pa as opposed to under £3k now
....and how much actually goes to Cancer Research UK? According to the terms and conditions a maximum of £10 per year.

Alternatively, sign up for almost any other fixed rate deal you can find (not with Scottish Power) and give a tenner to Cancer Research UK yourself.

That will teach me to read the Ts &Cs, no incentive to stay with them for a tenner to Cancer Research UK :(

It would be better if they took fixed rates off sale. I worry someone vulnerable would take a fix not understanding the implications.
    Absolutely agree, it's so wrong
