Very wild, wet and windy here so wimped out of a run yet again. I did walk to church (10mins!) very briskly ....
While I was out, Mr N decluttered a load of clothes ready to go the CS so I followed his example. Still more clearing to do, but at least it's a start. Searched textile recycling as our tip now only has a skip for those which can be re-used. Luckily found one in the car park of a small town I go through on my way to the gym on Tuesday.
New super-warm swimming gloves arrived from Amaz00 but on the small side so organised a return before I started procrastinating. Luckily there is a collection centre not far from the gym where Mr N is going tomorrow; return code received and safely on his phone so no paperwork to print. Ordered next size up.
Casserole in slow cooker ready for later, just made some dumplings and thrown them in.
About to revise drumming as I start with the new tutor on Thursday and if he asks me what I have been doing/can do, I know I'm just going to blank.
Done a bit more of a report......lovely young man but PTSD, anxiety, depression and more than one SpLD poor lad. Will need careful wording.
That's about it so far. Hope everyone's week turns out ok and those needing them can get doctor's appointments.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Hi all
HIIT class done first thing, then to Li@l for some shopping. DS1 and GF stayed so DS and DH cooked a full english. Then while they all watched the footie I did some baking for DHs pack up and made meat and veggie lasagnes for tea.
Just had a slightly hair-raising journey to get DS2 to the train station, lots of flooded roads, and only just got there in time. I always feel a bit flat when DS2 goes back to student land and I didnt even get time to give him a proper hug before he ran to catch his train.
Flying has been minimal, I will have to catch up in the morning as it's a late start tomorrow. DW needs emptying and refilling. I guess that's my job then.
It's been a nice but slightly full on weekend, I have forgotten what its like to have 5 of us in the house!11 -
carrier of stuff dropped with DD1, 3 pairs of shoes with DS1, 4 carriers of food at my mothers.. and I completely forgot to take the sandwich cutters to DD1 so I need to sort that somehow.
The car is outside my mothers as it refused to start when we were leaving.. good job she only lives in the next street!!!
I need to dig out my bed while OH gets the girls to bed..
Pixie has been super helpful today and cleaned a set of drawers and sorted the knickers and socks into them. She helped tidy the bed room and we made a plan of tidying for the week.
