Does anybody know where to find out the regional price cap rates as these seem to be way higher than the average Offgem ones.
Those look about right for the South West region and a standard credit account, it would be lower with a DD in place.

That's because that's what they've swapped me on to automatically. I'm still waiting for somebody to get in touch with setting things up correctly. Whenever I manage to get to speak to somebody, they keep telling me they will be in touch. I've yet to get a bill from them, despite sending in regular readings. I'm already really annoyed about the change to the tariff after being led to believe that it was staying as it was until 31st July.
Those rates do not take effect before 1st April so don't worry on that score, but yes, their handling of the SoLR tariffs with the 'guaranteed' dates which they subsequently 'corrected' has been appalling.

So is there anyway of knowing what their rates are going to be with a DDR? Can't find it anywhere on their website, just an average which is not really much use to man nor beast when, as individuals, we don't pay an average. I can't believe that there's no readily available list of regional price caps.

See the links in my signature for tables with the regional price caps for gas and single-rate electricity customers paying by DD.

Octopus have produced a page based on the Ofgem cap numbers, it is not going to be 100% accurate but will be in the right ball-park... https://octopus.energy/documents/114/Ofgem_price_cap_rates.pdf
There is some flexibility in the calculations, especially for E7 tariffs which mean that you can't just publish a definitive cap for all combinations, but the Octopus list will get you close.

Are you not able to set up a DD yourself?
what issue are you having with setup?

I spoke to them about and they said to wait. I could set up a DDR in my account but at the moment I've got no idea how much it's going to be for.

    I
I found this eventually so how does it work? Is the Nil kwh what they can charge as a standing charge and the other figure the most they can charge for 3100kWh per annum on top? This is for DDR payments, it would seem.

Check the link I posted above, it will be easier.
The table you have there excludes VAT (5%) and yes, the nil kWh sets the standing charge, the other table is the cap for 3100kWh and the standing charge.

Yes, as explained here. Plus 5% VAT.

I can't quite work out where they've got the estimated annual figure from either, using the stated rates and assumed consumption. I make it £976.98

2900kWh is the mandated typical usage that Ofgem insist the suppliers use when presenting tariff details.
... and if you check your maths you'll get to the same figure they use.
    365 x £0.57782 + 2900 x £0.29923 = £1078.65
There may be a tiny difference due to rounding.
    £210.90+867.76 = £1078.66
