If you’re going to make that argument, it could be applied to almost anything. What about when banks send out replacement cards, which always have an identifiable return address in the bank? Is that free money too? What about birthday cards? Might they contain free money too?aljames3 said:Why are Royal Mail promoting fraud with the stamp SWAPOUT scheme?
With an address as blatant as FREEPOST SWAPOUT you are literally advertising there is completely untraceable money inside this envelope! You might just as well write 'FREE MONEY INSIDE' on the envelope. RidiculousNorthern Ireland club member No 382 :j1 -

Lots of post office staff think that all stamps without barcodes are invalid now. Had to argue with one the other day. This whole thing has suffered from poor communication from the start, and plenty of people are reusing unfranked barcoded stamps anyway, as they seem to be selling in bulk for around half face value and I can't think of any other reason people would buy them.0

Facebook marketplace is awash with the new stamps at reduced cost.0

I would avoid at all costs. Whether the bar code (QR code) actually reduces fraud remains to be see but it doesn’t seem to have stopped the mass importation of fake stamps from the far east.jeffuk said:Facebook marketplace is awash with the new stamps at reduced cost.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j2 -
I've sent mine off in six lots over the year and received my final stamps today, so i'm very happy with how the process went.

I sent my stamps back on 31 July and just received back today. So glad I took pictures of the form and stamps as 4 large 1st class were missing, I sent 24 and got 20 back. Just rang and spoke to a helpful adviser who checked and is now sending me my missing 4 large 1st class stamps. I would recommend anyone sending back to take pictures as evidence.

It's such a fiddly job that I'm amazed there aren't more mistakes. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Are the replacement stamps being sent out still QE2 stamps or have they moved into KC3 stamps now?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
