OS Daily Thurs 13th Dec 07

Evening all,

Not such a hot day today - came downstairs this morning to a mountain of cat sick...,and an empty plate where I had left the mince for dinner defrosting :mad: (serves the little :mad: right)
Work was absolutely manic, and Health and Safety have taken away our 'poking stick', so that when the boxes get jammed on the belt (approx. every 3 minutes), we now have to stop the belt, wriggle underneath amidst bare wires and sharp metal and unjam it manually. By the time you get out, it's jammed up again :rolleyes:
Then I came home and OHs first words to me were 'I've been and got you a lovely chest of drawers off Freecycle...but I smashed my back windscreen in the process'. GREAT - so that's £50 excess that we really can't afford right now. Why can I not just have *one* day without a drama??? It's not too much to ask is it?

So, I am just going to sit and chill out here for the rest of the evening. I'ld like to have a shower, but I don't suppose OH will get the fire going for me.

If huge photo files, have you considered dvds? Maybe you can't burn to dvd like us. Just a thought.

Yes I can GB, and have blanks, just "not thinking". I will do another copy onto a blank DVD and save time.:eek: :eek: . Thanks
