Cold here today, but not as bad as yesterday or the day before. Actually bothered to make an effort and not wearing jeans to work.

Stopping at Mr T's on the way home to pick up literally a couple of bits as I still have £5 off a £15 spend, and they run out on Sunday, so may as well make the most of them. Will probably get some more bits for Christmas like the advocaat and gin.

Managed a nap yesterday - fell asleep for two hours!!!! But I needed it.

Got the boss I can't stand in today. Will just try and block him out. Bet he'll be in soon. He really makes my skin crawl. He said something at the Xmas meal - I didn't go on principle - which I couldn't possibly repeat, but it was so disgusting I wish I had been there so I could've reported him to HO.

Done my archerfish and libertycash clicks and will check pigsback again later. Might also do some cashbag clicks too. Not that they've added any to my earnings lately

    Hope everyone's ok

    morning all,

just having toast and marmite :D my favourite, off to work today, last day untill next wed, so have got a nice break.

DD stayed with her nan last night, and when I phoned to speak to her, she was upset because her two best 'friends' were not talking to her, WHY do girls do that, it drives me mad  , this has happened several times, and it always seems to be DD that they leave out. I had said that I would phone the teacher but DD will not have that, I suppose its just one of those things I have to let her sort out for herself, but my god I'd like to get in there and bang their heads together.

Got sainsbugs coming tonight, fahitas for tea, will have a quick swipe round this morning.
It does not seem as cold here, we stll have a frost, but its not as bad as it has been.

Happy Birthday to Miss Pen Pin :j :T

OS wise I need to get upto date with the washing and also plan meals for the next week. I'm hoping that it will involve minimum purchases possible just some fruit and yogurts for the monkey.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
    Where the treetops glisten
    And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

And in my calendar today - a cracker :D

Master tru isn't happy, the bloke he works with was supposed to pick him up at 7.10, at 7.35 he rang him to ask what was going on with work and he said 'oh !*$^, sorry mate, I overslept, be there in 30 mins'. He was moaning that he could have had an extra hour in bed :D

I'm going to make some cakes after I've done some work. Soooo pleased I work at home, I couldn't face going out today, it's too cold. Need to finish that ironing too

Did you know - it's illegal to eat mince pies on Christmas day :rotfl:

    Happy Birthday to Miss PENNYPINCHER!

REDRUBY - your poor DD - girls are horrible for that, aren't they? I hope it stops soon. At least term is nearly over so she'll be able to relax and try and forget it for a while.

Welcome BOBBADOG - although I recognise your name - have you been here before? If this is your first time, you will definitely like it here!

Well, I've done the bathroom and now I'm wrapping up presents for posting. I'll be glad when all the posting is done. The queues in the post offices here have been horrendous and I know it's because of the great Royal Mail plan to make life just that bit more difficult for us all by making us all unsure of postage on cards. I've resorted to sending some small ones to make sure they will be delivered. The ones I've had to get weighed, I've marked on the front with 'Postage checked by post office staff'. Any mail that doesn't get delivered will cost at least a pound to collect from the sorting office. I've looked into buying one of the perspex letter guides that the post offices use - the leaflet one they handed out does not give me much confidence - and Royal Mail are charging £20 for them. What a cheek when they are the ones who have messed everything up! I'm going to write and ask them for one for nothing. I've seen them on eBay for £15 plus postage but I don't see why anyone should have to pay for one. I post a lot of items so one would be really handy.

Anyway, rant over - but I do hate it when the powers that be don't think things through before they rush us into changes like that.

See ya - I need a coffee to help me calm down!

TRU - I work from home and I love it - as long as I can discipline myself to do it and not get distracted! On these cold mornings, I'm so glad I don't have to go out early. Up until 18 months ago, I worked in a 'proper' job and longed to be able to work from home. I also don't miss the evening rush hour traffic!
