Hi everyone
Apologies for my late arrival atm, I am reading, but never seem to get to the end. Kitchen almost finished hob and extractor fitted and all but tiny finishing off point. Bedroom starts tomorrow, it is emulsioned. Picked a coffee colour - looks like bare plastered walls. DH & me kn@ckered. Congrats on the new look dlb, and well done tru, spend it wisely, but treat yourself a little. Hope gs is OK Jackie, and Happy Birthday Pen-Pin - that's from memory (which is a little faded) apologies and ((((hugs)))) to anyone else and anything I've forgotten.
Pulled Xmas card list off Access so I can get organised tonight. Peeved with some collectors from Freecycle. Looks like the tip could be calling, such a waste.
Take care

These are the pictures of the two dolls, the first one is a baby doll, the second is the one in the violent pink outfit, with the broken tooth, she will be getting re-dressed before too long in something a little less in your face and I am hoping to get her 'tooth' replaced, she needs a tooth transplant. We have a doll museum not far from us, they do repairs as well, so I am hoping that they will be able to restore her pretty smile. I would love to be able to find one of those little wicker prams with the metal handles................
I am going to collect them on Saturday, I can hardly restrain myself.........I cannot wait to get them home, I have a chair ready for them in the sitting room.....................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

My mother in law has dolls like this, very cute but they give me the creeps.........not too sure why but I shiver whenever I see these kind of dolls? Anyone else feel like this or am I odd?0 -
No, I find dolls creepy too. My mum and dad bought me one when I was 4 or 5, and a pram. We lived in a quiet cul-de-sac, I put the doll in the pram and pushed it into the back of the neighbour's car as he was reversing :rotfl:Bulletproof0

evening all,
Kathy, well done for giving blood, I didn't know it was your first time :j ,
I think a lot of people feel a bit funny afterwards, just take your time, and relax afterwards, I must admit I am lucky in that I feel perfectly normal afterwards, but I go with a friend who suffers a bit, I always make her a hot chocolate afterwards, the sugar seems to perk her up a bit.
Tru :j  :T :j thats b****y fantatic news re the bonus, no one will think you are showing off, we are just glad for you, treat yourselves to something lovely xx
I know what you mean about the dolls, I always think they are watching me _pale_ ,
csarina you are obviously made of stronger stuff than us, you enjoy them xx
Filled my car up with petrol (£38  ) just in case we have any kind of protest, it was a bit busier than normal, but not manic.
DD has made up with her friend's now, typical I have spent all day worring over nothing.
Have good evenings all xx0 -

No not odd! I know what you mean, and also I'm frightened of/phobic about clowns, but I think that's more common than I at first realised. Hated going to the circus as a child because of the clowns, but loved the trapeze artists, jugglers, animal acts etc.You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Hi All
Haven't really kept up today. Glad you got the Roses 9Neav - when I popped in tonight our Co-op full of them.
Well got the tree up tonight and did the outside lights (red berry lights from B&Q on two Pyracathas), Looking very festive. Will put a few more bits up tomorrow as boys coming to stay on Saturday.
Well, as expected incident report in local paper and totally misrepresented. We have spoken to our media folk and they have contacted local paper but I think the damage done.
DS phoned tonight from Ireland - they come over briefly next Saturday through to Sunday. He has been offered share options in the company he works for and taken them up. Wise move I think as only one branch in Eire at the moment but expansion happening. A DIY and Trade hire place.
I do hope everyone else coping at the moment. Sorry not to mention more folk but totally knackered!

Hi Gang
Anyone else still here? I've not got to my cards yet, remembered I had to make some CD's of photos from the holidays for people we will see this weekend. Only trouble with a large mp camera its 3 CD's not one.
Had to cancel going away in the 'van this weekend, there is just too much to do, and not even a tree out of the loft yet, let alone up and decorated. We will go and see everyone though on Saturday night, as it is only 18 miles away.
Think a walk towards the drinks cupboard could be on the cards:eek:
I can see me writing cards if I wake up early in the morning.:rolleyes:Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
