@RebekahR Hi lovely... I am am currently at 17 hens and three cockerels, and have another 14 hens being given to us next week that need a new home... so 34 total. We sell our eggs on a pay as you feel basis and make enough to cover the cost of their layers pellets. They are wonderful and all have names.
Enjoy yours xx
Still no flying done; we have heavy snow and it’s currently-6.

I want snow!! Where are you?! We can't have cockerels due to the neighbours as we are terraced. But we have 3 hens. Speckledy (clues in the name!), peachy (Warren) and Peckers (Bluebell). The kids love them! Sell our eggs at £1 for 6 :-D

Morning all xx
Make my bed, feed the birds and put out the recycling is my limit on a work day. Unless you count put the full bin out, bring in the empty bin, and pay the electricity bill as flying. 🤔
Weekend now. Woot woot 🎉 I had a bad dream about flooding and I've been awake since about 4.30 and up since 6 - because I wanted a brew 😊. Ready for brew 2 now. (Not so) Magic scales say that I gained 2.2 lbs this week. Must try harder 🤐
To Do Today List
Shower and wash hair
Get dressed
Bring down the laundry hamper
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
WUDUPA
My bed is always made as soon as I get out of it - and folded down to 'air'. I opened my bedroom window a little to let in some fresh air.
My 🐸 for the weekend is to look at my Broadband provision....I really do not need bells and whistles on it now there's just me. I hate making phone calls, feeling nauseous at the thought, but need to look at my outgoings as the forthcoming hike in NI is effectively a paycut imo. And that's before all the other hikes.
Brew 2 and breakfast first.
Love to you all ❤❤
One day at a time my lovelies

Morning all,
This weekend has been a looooooonnnnggg time coming. Minimal flying achieved all week. Round - if I didn’t count putting the bins out as flying, then sometimes I wouldn’t fly at all! The Council has just changed our bin collection arrangements, so bang goes one load of flying for me!
It’s been a busy week at work. OK, but busy. Last night I dreamt that I was told that I wasn’t pulling my weight - not likely to happen, but where did that come from??Flopped last night in front of the tv, after cooking dinner and tidying the kitchen. DH found my yoga mat out from the loft during the day, so I did manage a short yoga session. When I woke up in the night, I couldn’t figure out why I was aching in strange places! Thank you, YL, for the motivation to actually get the mat down, I just need to plan this time into my evenings. We are out this evening with a group of friends, for a very delayed (2 years) Christmas dinner. I am not looking forward to it at all. I really do not want to people.Today’s plan - not sure. I ought to fly a bit upstairs, as this is harder to do on my day off when DH is working up there. Motivation to do that is zilch. I will start with a Round list:
get dressed
have 2nd cuppa
open bedroom window for a blast of air
weigh myself on my not-so-magic scales
darn it - just remembered - HHI to do as well.
Have a lovely day all. Hugs to you all xx10 -
I will swallow a frog today, I will, I will!10

List done ✅
Seeds sorted for this year’s planting efforts. Early potatoes nicely lined up in egg boxes on downstairs toilet windowsill. That won’t get annoying - much!
My scales continue to lie to me… it seems that I am a whole stone heavier than I was last year. I have therefore walked around the village to deliver a birthday card, and promptly eaten a hot cross bun slathered in butter. And I wonder why the scales tip over when I stand on them.
DH has brought down some more treasures for sorting - this time it is more remnants of my mum’s house, so my job to sort through. Our gas and electricity tariff changed over yesterday, and it is scary to watch the smart meter ramp up. By 10am, the gas cost was nearly what it would have been by the evening. It will only get worse come April.Off to sort through a loft box.
Good luck with the frog munching, elbree.11 -
You are very welcome Fayolle I try and do yoga every day, even it is just 15 minutes, like you say its just a question of finding a way to fit it in (and the motivation to do it)!
Round I need to ring M&S because I havent had a refund for a jumper that I returned (it wasnt even my jumper it was for Dad to give to Mum for Christmas and it arrived too late). I keep putting it off but I need the £30 back.
Not feeling like doing very much today which is not like me but its been a busy week. There is a little ironing to do and the kitchen cupboards could do with a wipe down.
House is freezing, there is a bitterly cold wind outside and our house shouldnt be draughty but it is. Think I will have to give in and put the heating on.12 -
