Far too much peopling been done this weekend and no flying. We are all exhausted so a day at home it is. It’s snowing again anyway so we’ve no inclination to go out.
WM is on, I have a cuppa, Ive been out to see the hens who are all laying so well at the minute bless them. A day of grazing from the fridge, films and reading is on the cards xx

Hi all
Agree with ASB, hope Dot is a bit calmer today Pigpen. I was exhausted just reading about your day yesterday.
Sorry to hear you are poorly Dizzy hope you get a chance for some proper rest x
Slept for 9 hours last night and now feel groggy. I dragged myself out of bed at 7.30am or I will never sleep tonight, clearly I needed it.
I desperately want to get out of the house today but the forecast isnt great. We talked about driving somewhere and going for a proper walk if DH feels up to it but we will see. Last night was sooo windy, our house is very exposed to the elements and we have had the roof damaged twice in the time we have been here. Havent checked yet but no tiles in the garden.
I downloaded the My Pantry app on my phone last night so I want to do a proper inventory of our cupboards today, we seem to have a lot more packets and tins than we need. Other than that there is not too much flying to do, I ambled about yesterday with a tin of Mr Sheen in one hand and a duster in the other so will just run the hoover around.
Have a good Sunday all x10 -
RebekahR said:elbree said:I did it! I cleaned the windows! Outside on the street with a big pole in the wind looking and feeling ridiculous. Inside was much easier. I have huge sash windows and they now look so much better.
I admit I might have put it off again if not for the ex in-laws popping in next weekend 😂
Anyway, 🐸✅
Thanks Fayolle
Now, the usual jobs. Have a good day all x
Oooh don't talk about inlaws. My mil is coming over half term to stay. And she is a right old witch! I don't bother cleaning for her to come as when I used to do that she would clean the whole house from top to bottom redoing everything I had arleady done! So say I was fuming was an understatement!
Anyway, it was good that it made me do a better job than I would have on my own. Hope you have a better day Pigpen and feel better Dizzy. Today I need to dye my hair and I'm brunching with a friend and visiting another's new baby so a nice social day.10 -
Morning all xx
Hope all is calm over the Bridge today piggers. xx
Get well soon vibes to all the poorlies xx
DS and GF visited yesterday afternoon- lovely surprise. And DS left with two bags of gubbins + the file containing his birth certificate, car registration documents, A level and degree certificates etc etc. That's a bit more out the door. Woot woot 😭. Definitely mixed emotions with that one.
I did everything on my list yesterday except WUDUPA. Plus sloshed bleach down the loo and changed the towels in the bathroom. Preliminary checks revealed that my Broadband contract ends on 20th April....so note made on calendar and that 🐸 is still swimming.
Today's To Do List
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
WM x 1
Laundry shuffle x ?
WUDUPA
Move box in front of boiler cupboard
Brew 2 and a cuppa first.
Have a good day 😊

Morning all,
Very gusty here too, YL, and we are also exposed to the elements. The rain lashed it down in the night for good measure. The milk holder thingy (which is super weighted down due to being exposed etc etc) has made a bid for freedom to somewhere else in the village or beyond.
We had a lovely evening, thank you for asking, Round. 2 years plus since we had seen everyone (DH old school friends and partners), although a few were missing due to non plague illnesses and not wanting to pass lurgies to others. I wasn’t the only by far who admitted to not wanting to people anymore. We have been invited to a neighbour’s for supper this evening, so the chicken (special treat for DH, as usually I force him down the veggie route 😉) has been literally shoe horned into the freezer for another weekend.
Mr M shopping slot for a couple of weeks time has been shifted, as it seems neither of us will be here 🙇♀️.
Yesterday afternoon was spent sorting through some of my mum’s stuff, instead of the intended flying. Pointless flying upstairs as the sorting out is generating more dust, so I might just get on with more of that and turn a blind eye to the flying jobs.
Hope the poorlies feel better soon x
Hope Dot has a better day, Piggers x
Hugs to all xx9 -

Squeak drama today.. lady time seems to have come around VERY early for this one. None of us are ready. She however is fine.. DD1 cried..
Dot is stuffed in the bath.. it is her calm place.. We will drag them off to the park when they are less smelly.. and Squeak can stay home or come.. just this once..
I need to bob to shop.. we need hot cross buns and bread..
Had to pull out 10 rows of knitting because and end stitch looked wrong so I need to get the last 6 rows done today.. I just could not stay awake longer.. a bit mad that if I hadn't had to pull it out then it would be finished.. but I have sleeves to do next and I'm not lookig forward to those.
Airer emptied and will be refilled shortly but slurping my cuppa.
OH sent to speed wash children.. so naturally he is sat on the sofa....

Been doing some work work.
Kept waking up in the night so steeled myself to put TD on on cheap ;leccy.
IMO there needs to be a revolt - this 'rebate' which we ALL 'pay back' whether or not we get the rebate is the work of fools and nincompoops.
