Now both are at school i'm back again LOL. First job for me is actually manage my routines and to declutter the place! Been giving away, selling and throwin stuff all year so far. (Make that sound like lots lol) and i've managed to make £97.50 (inclusive of chicken egg sales as we now have chickens!)
hello and welcome back! I remember you .. probably because I am just nosey! And I suggested one of our other ladies sold chicken eggs too.. I knew it was worth the effort.Thank you! We only got them in August! We only have 3 so don't make much. But we sell a box of 6 for £1. Have 5-6 ladies who buy regularly. Well I say regular ... they are only throwing out 2 eggs a day at the moment due to time of the year! But once they are back to it it'll be more. How many chickens does she have? I'll have to be nosey too and have a read back.Just finished my morning routine. I don't normally get started until after lunch as I go back to bed after school run! The lockdowns killed my sleep! So i'm stopping for a late lunch before I run off to get the kids once again!12 -
Hi all
Wouldnt it be lovely if I could just pop round to yours with a cuppa Pigpen, or a flask, or with your brood maybe a very large water container. Hope its back on soon.
Slogged my way through 6 hours of paid stuff with one eye constantly on the clock. Usually I finish on a Friday and go for a brisk walk but its pouring down with a very cold wind so I am under the heated blanket with a cuppa and the dog.
My windows are still filthy, and there is a bit of ironing to do. I got the washing almost dry outside today which was a win. DH has gone to work for a couple of hours which is good.
Oh the sun is out now, so I suppose I could go for a walk, or I could snooze instead.11 -
We have heavy snow here and so I have lit the fire and made myself a hot chocolate.

Well i'm back from school run. Kids all snacked so time to carry on again. This time my afternoon routine. Tidy landing, Jessicas (age 9) bedroom, bathroom and swish n' swipe!

It's quiet on the thread tonight - is everyone exhausted?
I stayed up late last night filling in forms, and had my annual review for work this morning. No problems.
On the way home I visited the greengrocers and MrAl, so we now have plenty of F&V, but I didn't buy much meat. I am trying to eat up the stuff which has been in the freezer for anything up to a year, and also bits from the store cupboard, so I'm hoping it will be another cheapish month for food.
This evening DH is out playing wargames, so I've had a long chat with a friend from our previous home town. I think we might try to drive over and see her and her husband one day soon, if they'll allow us in their house (too far to drive if we can't go in). He's in his 90s and beginning to get quite frail now.
DH has sorted through most of his DVDs and decluttered nearly 3 carrier bags full! I added a couple of mine, then went through all the bags and discovered that he's thrown out one of my favourite films which I had bought so that one was hastily retrieved- Richard Burton in Becket. That's a keeper.

This sounds fun! What you knitting? I like knitting but don't really have a project in mind right now. I am however coming to the end of my first ever crochet project! A plain square dishcloth lol
