Fayolle it did honey, thank you for asking.
Dizzy - I could have written your post myself. No words just hugs xx
So after stove glass expense I now have another unexpected and unavoidable expense of £178. Given how tight our budget is this has just tipped me into melancholy. It wasn’t something I could have foreseen so I just have to put it down as one of those things, prepare to eat lots of eggs and paint my best smile on for the children. She says, making it sound easy...
Early night here will regroup tomorrow x

Enormous (((hugs))) to Dizzy and asb. I wish I could magic the misery away for you, but I missed out on those skills xx
Interesting thread about forum ambassadors, Kaz , but I'm not inclined to volunteer.
Had a bitty day here, but crossed several things off my list.
- FUPA the bits from WMx3 (that I did yesterday and forgot to post) that had dried on the bathroom radiator
- renewed my anti-virus etc for another 2 years
- collected a blood test form from the surgery
- took 3 smallish but heavy bags to the CS
- ran a one-hour study group off the top of my head
- took Rosie for her walk
- sorted out a crisis involving 2 small children (not mine!) with hand, foot and mouth disease
- taken down 2 sets of Christmas lights - J the gardener can do the others tomorrow when he has the stepladder out to prune the top of the arbour (posh name for trellis over a bench)
- gave DH leftovers for tea - he didn't complain.
Still more bits to be done this evening, but there's nothing worth watching on TV anyway.
See you tomorrow x

More hugs coming your way Dizzy and ASB.
- did gym swim
- Mr N blitzed conservatory; I offered to help but there wasn't room what with all the moving furniture around to sweep and mop, so I tidied the lounge instead.
- flower arranging friend and husband came round to collect a large branch of corkscrew hazel we cut off; I knew she would like it as she does both small and big arrangements and the curly twigs are so lovely. Glad it is re-homed as otherwise I'd have tried to find space in the garage.
- Finished getting paperwork ready for this week's assessments. Went through all I have booked (until end of March) and emailed a few who either haven't recently had an eye test or have ticked various boxes for visual disturbances, to make sure they discuss their issues with an optometrist before they see me.
- Still culling 'downloads' folder; when I first started there were over 500 items and now it is 274. Plenty to go.
- bird feeders filled.
- checked notes from yesterday's webinar. They have sent me the recording but it doesn't look as if I missed much. Applied for another one, different software training.
The saga of the boiler continues. To recap: this time last year, after immense hassle, we had a new gas boiler put in as the range was faulty. A couple of weeks ago, turning said boiler on produced the rather rude error message 'FU'. Yeah, right. Engineer 1 came, scratched head, said it was a blockage and he'd tell the boss. After a few days with no contact, Mr N rang the boss who said he'd send someone out. Engineer 2 came. Disagreed with blockage theory, said it was the thermostat. Said as the boiler was under warranty, their company weren't allowed to touch it so we had to contact the manufacturer.......when he checked, the thing hadn't been registered.....when they installed the boiler they assured us they had registered it. Quick phone call to registration lady, scanned in forms, emailed back to her. Date set for engineer 3 to visit next week. Fortunately the central heating does actually come on, despite still telling us FU. Maybe we should just move.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.12 -
Morning all
Not much flying going on here, work difficulties continue, early meeting this morning, feeling rotten though as I am sleeping so poorly. I should get a break after the first meeting so am going to prioritise getting out for some fresh air, I think that will do me good.
Laundry is at least being kept on top of and house is tidyish, DH gone back to the office and I’m pretty much just in one room so not much chance of things getting messy!Hope you are all ok, sending hugs as needed x10 -
And here in Valliland not much flying getting done.
WM and DW in use though.
Sorry some folks are having a tough time - especially ASB and Dizzy

Morning all,
Sending love to those having boiler issues, unexpected bills, work stress or other tricky stuff. Pigpen is so right, one hour at a time.
DH is permanently exhausted so hasn't managed to get to work so far this week. He isnt having as much pain though. We have a work capability assessment to fill in. My paid stuff has been OK but its starting to get busy. I am not even thinking about money.
Yoga done, shower and paid stuff next, 3 meetings today one I am a bit nervous about because its with someone who always makes me feel a bit dim. DH is keeping on top of the flying which is good.
Need to collect my prescription and pay some cheques into the bank.
Have a good Wednesday all x11
