Hi Keith, thats what I did, I forwarded the email to the court and asked them if this is genuine and what I have to do next.
It says on the 279 form: Note: Where another party must consent to the proceedings being discontinued, a copy of their consent must be attached to, and served with, this form
Do I need to complete the form on my end and send it off to the court? See attatched screen shot of the pdf form received from dcbl, you will have to zoom in.
I will not discard anything and continue with my WS just in case they are trying to let my guard down.
Thanks Keith

I emailed the court and called them but no reply so far, I will call again tomorrow morning 9am, MCOL has no update either when I logged in.0 -

Once a Claim is transferred to a hearing court, the County Court Business Centre's involvement is over - together with the MCOL Claim History.3 -

I forwarded the email to the hearing court along with the attachment, once they confirm its discontinued only then I can be for certain.1 -
Great news! You will do the final Government Public Consultation when it opens, won't you? No doubt you've seen the posts about it, including this week, on the top thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I seen your comment:
And please please please can you and your relative do a response to the Government's final Public Consultation this Summer?
As your cases will now go quiet whilst NPE chew on your replies, please don't forget to come back here regularly to check. Your opinion needs to be heard.
It's horrible being pursued for £100 for no reason, by an ex-clamper aggressive firm, isn't it?
If you are not likely to pop back here every week to check, please set up email alerts for this forum and bookmark this thread (below) as we intend that one of us posts on it when the Government opens the Consultation:

We need to stop the rotten industry from blocking and riding roughshod over the new statutory Code and the charge levels and basically bullying all motorists by using the Government for leverage.
Yes, I will support your cause in anyway, we all need to come together to fight this terrible parking industry.
I still don't think I am quite out of the woods yet. I have a feeling after this case is closed, UKPC and DCB Legal will attempt to take me to court regarding the other 2 pcns which I mentioned a few weeks ago when I replied to them about it being estopped. On the email DCBL "legal" said I have 30 days to pay £350 or they will take further action. Anyway I have my defence ready when it comes to it.

My local court is always busy when I call, "we are busy right now, please dial later"
They have not replied to my email from 2 days ago.
What is this country coming to? Everything seems to be crumbling, they keep using covid as an excuse "due to covid we have lack of staff"0 -
