Hi Friends, I just want to clarify please my Answers on my N180 form before I submit it off.
Do you agree to this case being referred to the Small Claims Mediation Service? I ticked Yes
Telephone Number I put my mobile as I do not have a landline so put N/A in the telephone number field.
Do you agree that the small claims track is the appropriate track for this case? I ticked Yes
This is where I am unsure (hearing venue) - Do I have to personally visit the venue? In that case does it make sense to find a county court hearing center local to me? I travel for my work to different towns on most days so need clarification on this please.
Hearing venue D1 At which County Court hearing centre would you prefer the small claims hearing to take place and why?
Are you asking for the court’s permission to use the written evidence of an expert? I ticked No as I will not be using any expert just myself
How many witnesses, including yourself, will give evidence on your behalf at the hearing? I put 0 in the box
Are there any days within the next six months when you, an expert or a witness will not be able to attend court for the hearing?
I put my grandmothers birthday because I booked her a day trip treat.
Will I require any interpreter - I ticked NO
You must sign this form - I sign and date and Circle defendant
Thank you everyone0 -

You must've seen it.
It immediately follows the bold red words...

Surely you are not telling us that you can't find the NEWBIES thread, are you?
That can't possibly be the case.
I actually gave you a link to the second post on the NEWBIES thread in one of my earliest replies on this thread.1 -

So from reading Bargoples thread I have to post off the N180 form, then the court will write back to me confirming a date and deadline to submit my WS. So I do not select which court I choose? At this stage I post off my N180 form and wait for the reply? Thank you everyone for helping me on this.
5. The case file will then be transferred to your local County Court, and you will eventually receive a Notice of Allocation, giving you a date and time for the hearing. It will also specify a deadline for you to submit a Witness Statement, and any other documents you intend to rely on, usually 14 days before the hearing but sometimes earlier than that. Your Witness Statement can expand upon the points made in your original Defence, and must start with the following "I, Joe Bloggs, of 23 Acacia Avenue, Anytown, AN1 2BC, am the Defendant in this matter, and will say as follows". You should attach to your Witness Statement any evidence to support your assertions, eg photos of signage, etc. Optionally, you may also want to include a Skeleton Argument to flesh out the legal points, or you could include those as part of your Witness Statement.

for those who are looking for it I have pasted it below:
why is anyone going to be looking at your thread for an extract from the NEWBIES thread?
And of course your 'reference copy' will become out of date, and therefore misleading, as soon as the NEWBIES thread is updated.2 -
