Just a quick update on this particular case - I logged into MCOL just now, it says the following:
Your acknowledgement of service was submitted on 26/1/2022
your defence was received on 02/02/2022
So no change. I guess I just wait for their correspondence?
Thank you to everyone.0 -

**************Update******
Hi, I have received a letter from DCBLegal regarding this case
It says
"Having reviewed the content of your defence, we write to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim. I
In due course, the Court will direct both parties to each file a directions questionnaire. I preparation for that, please find attached a copy of the Claimant's, which we confirm has been filed with the court.
Without Prejudice to the above, in order to assist the Court in achieving its overidding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case - in the event you wish to discuss settlement, please call us on 02034340433 within 7 days and make immediate reference to this correspondence".
So what should I do now?
I have received some forms directions questionnaire small claims track with dcb address on the bottom left.
I am not in my home town so do not have the paperwork with me. Can I print the small claims track form online and send it off or do I Have to use that original copy that they sent?0 -
Well certainly do not telephone them ...... unless you enjoy exercises akin to banging your head on a wall ! The letter you have received is a standard attempt to frighten.
So , await the paperwork from the Court, as in second post on the NewbiesThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.4 -
You were expecting that, weren't you?
Go back to that list you were following when you filed your Defence.
Item 7 on that list says...
You now need to be reading items 8, 9 and 10 on that list.
