NST February 2022: a month of fives

Evening Turtles. Used a B@@ts voucher so small spend to top up. Lots of toiletries to last the month. Also bought petrol, decided just to fill the tank as the price just keeps going up. Hope that doesn’t count as panic buying as there were queues around here at the weekend. No queues today so obviously people are reading the news rather than social media as to where our oil comes from! Not sure how many NSD’s but didn’t do too badly. Got rid of some stuff to charity and cleared out the sideboard of doom. Has definitely focused my mind posting on here.
Today I am grateful for being able to walk into town after my annoying foot injury, a lovely bunch of flowers from one of my customers and the kitten making me laugh running around with a pair of socks in his mouth7 -
Thank you for running the thread apple. Not at all sure what I managed in NSDs. Lots has left the bungalow, lots of paperwork has been done, less left to do. Not done as much as I hoped to do to day but the pile is going down and I had productive phone calls with the tax office and an insurance man.
Ready meals are not bad. The sausage and mash one was horrible (the sort of sausage that comes in jars or tins and tastes of oil) but the beef dinner was lovely and I liked the mushroom risotto. The only problem is I found the last two on the reduced shelf so don't know where they normally live in the shop - must get back to doing food orders (when I work out where I'm going to be.
Grateful for tasty ready meals, books (need to find more or start rereading one of my favourite series), looking up a review of something I started watching and finding out it wasn't just me who found the viewpoint extremely odd (a waste of good actors), feeling organised (just need to get stuff into a file). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Good evening
i managed 12 NSD this month, but looking at the stats, I had 43% NSD, 39% planned spending and 18% unplanned, including today when I went to ikea and bought loads of stuff I didn’t know I needed!! The highest majority was NSD so that’s a positive I guess.
sold 7 designer handbags this month, which I am pleased about too.

Think I've managed 12 NSD, not as many as I'd hoped. Food budget was way below target, but car budget rocketed due to 2 large repair bills, which included 3 new tyres too. Should keep me going for a long while.
Nearly half the total of pupils off in my school today, lots of staff still too. It's worrying.
Colleague gave me a lift to & from school, as my car was in the garage, good to have some company on the journey. Posted 2 eboy sales after collecting the car. Picked mum up from her work & took her home, had a good catch up. Did the prize draw for my bear through my Just Giving page, pleased to report I've raised £470 for the local kidney patients group 😃 unpicked a zip, will put the new one in tomorrow night, as too tired tonight!
Grateful for this month's thread @apple_muncher, hubby's dialysis going better with his newly widened vein, my car being totally fixed, all the people who donated to my chosen charity, a warm & cosy bed.
Look forward to seeing y'all in March. Yee-ha!!Use it up, wear it out

Evening all 🌘
Very swift pre-end of month check in. Still struggling to get my act together the last few days, and my routine has fallen apart. However... new month... new moon on Wednesday... all good times to do a mini reboot and take stock of where things went wrong this month and what went well too.
Think I hit my 14 day NSD target although have gone into March's budget today as did a shop, and re-filled the car as was out that way near the supermarket.
This week, I have been grateful for:
1) Food in my cupboards, and fridge
2) The sunshine for lifting the gloom
3) Old friends, and memories of my teenage years
Thanks so much Apple for this month's thread, and keeping us all going!
See you tomorrow folks! x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Just checking out to say thanks for \ll this month, it felt like a hard one, and now I am ready for March. WIll need to find thread and sign on again. As I come into March I have £100 after bills so will have a massive push to recharge my streams of additional income. Started w £4.50 voucher at Sainss yesterday - when my work was cancelled. I Having work cancel was quite upsetting and hasent happened for a long time, but I spent the day w ds1 and had coffee with a friend. And cleaned more of the house before fiend is visiting this weekend.
Apple thanks for running thread.
PS the main reason for not having any money left is that I decided that I will go and see my mom over easter, as have not seen for a year and a half and she is over 80, getting frail and it is time.
