DH is home again 😃 got up early so I could do the shopping before collecting him from the airport. Did it in record time, so drove to the beach & typed an email to my best friend from school, that's been on my to do list all month. He's got a few stitches, but hoping the balloon in his vein will make his dialysis work better now. Will find out on Monday 🤞
Put all the shopping away, had a lovely lunch with some 20p mixed leaves (added grapes, dried apricots, cucumber & peanuts), 20p hummous, oatcakes & some cheese we'd frozen at sproutmas (taking a couple of wedges out at a time). Hubby went a walk & I did some cleaning & tidying. Pleased the black bag of firewood is now in the woodstore, so out of sight. Wrote all the spends if this week in my book, & side hustle income/outgoings. Washed the dishes, then watched TV & did lots of knitting.
Grateful for DH being home, the NHS, getting some tidying done, another eboy sale, time to knitUse it up, wear it out

Morning turtles!
Haven't posted for a couple of days. I had a really good physiotherapy session on Friday. It's the most expensive place I've been to but it actually seems to be working, I hope it stays that way as this was my last resort before paying for a procedure that's not available on the NHS. I worked my part-time job on Friday night, it was chaos again, glad I'm not there full-time as it's quite draining.
Yesterday went into London for a friend's birthday, we'd pre-paid for this event, it was quite good but very loud! A few of us left early and went somewhere quieter for a chat over drinks. Then headed home and ordered pizza. All in all a spendy day but no hangover today which is the main thingI budgeted £50 for the day not including pizza, I'll wait for my bank account to update my contactless travel and then work out the overall cost. Any spare money I have in my account tomorrow I'm going to send to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal. It will probably only be a few £s but everything helps.
Today I'm going to do some housework and washing, then go see my share pony. I've already cleaned my aquarium and sorted the bunnies out (they get very upset if they're not fed as soon as I get up!). The weather is looking lovely, I might go for a walk too. A chilled day planned.
@firsview have a good birthday! @greent good to hear from you, rest up. Hope everyone has a restful day.11 -
I am so looking forward to payday tomorrow! Spendy old month with half term, the heating on, and an unexpected trip to Ireland. Glad it was a short month, as I would like to see the back of it.

Morning turtles
Friday was a productive day at work and i did a couple of tasks for my PT jobs.
Went to literature group in the eve which was lovely, good discussion of our book and made plans to visit a nearby town where a famous author lived. DD2 came home
Yesterday the long journeys caught up with me and i had a headache all day, had a half hour nap in the PM which helped. Did a food shop & had tea with DDs plus DD1's bestie. In the eve we all went to the theatre! Was part of my sproutmas present to them & we had a fab time.
This morning i've been adding up all my spends - went very over budget for food/cats - need to adjust that budget as it isn't realistic, cat food has increased from £4 - £4.50 a box which is some serious inflationPetrol was under budget but i'll leave it as it is now i'm back in the office more often (boo). Also had quite a few significant birthdays this month and bought a present for a friend's birthday in April.
It's a lovely day here so going for a walk later, dropping DD2 in town to meet her friend so i'll walk nearby to make good use of petrol. Going to put washing on the line. Need to do house chores and some work.
Gratitudes - precious time with DDs, DD1 for driving us to the theatre, sunny weather, DD2 being able to catch up with her dad and her friends, seeing my friend at the theatre at last
hugs to all

Today I am grateful for dc pulling out of an activity when it was too overwhelming, for going for a walk, for finding some ys bits in the c00p, for getting fuel yesterday before the prices were hoiked up today, for a good book.
