OP lived with it for 8 years and hasn't been back on the forum since May 3, so I don't expect we will ever be enlightened.

How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

Sorry, that wasn't a dig at you.

It happens on lots of threads... regularly.

My pet hate is threads left hanging by OPs.

I think this is the greatest thread I have ever read- they have to livestream the opening of that panel.
You obviously weren't around at the time of the dog buried in the garden thread then :o

Oh I know it wasn't. And agreed, I wish OPs would come back and update too.

Given the 2 recent and significant gas explosions I would be wanting to know where my safety isolation is and how to operate it.
I said that quite early in the thread.

The meter was almost a red herring. I'd have been on to my supplier and DNO telling them I couldn't find my isolation valve and surely this was a safety issue.  Find the valve, find the meter.

With all the gas explosions lately, if I were the OP I'd be more concerned where the shut off valve is more now than ever before!
