Has anyone here used Too Good To Go?

It feels like a way to sell short dated food and have people buy what they dont need.

So yes the value might be higher, but if you dont need any of the items in there, to me its a dud.
I can see the gimmick in it, but not for me.

I collected two separate orders today from Morrisons.. One from the cafe and one from the bakery.

The cafe one had a prawn and seafood cocktail sandwich on Malt bread, completely wrapped and unopened, in its container. It had two toasties.. already made up and sealed in their own cellophane, ready to open and pop in the toaster. One was tuna and something, and the other was a chicken and ham in sauce. Also two very posh creamy single cakes, and two warm, cornish - absolutely tasty and filled well - pasties.. one steak and one chicken and bacon. All this for 2.99 They are in the freezer.

Also from the bakery, I had 3 separate lots of bread rolls. I call them tea cakes, all wrapped in cellophane, and a Morrisons best Cranberry Pumpkin and almond Bloomer, as well as a Meditteranean Bloomer.. I cut these into slices and packed them back in a plastic freezer bag and froze them. All for 3.99.

The sell by use by date was today, but that's ok if you freeze them immediately.

I won't be using the Too Good To Go app for a while as my freezer is full.

Good idea though, and no waste.
