Did next to nothing regarding flying yesterday. Moved another huge pile of logs, listened to DGD1 read her reading book, played with DGD2, cleared the remains of last year's asparagus from the poly tunnel, (and found some growing,) watered stuff, loaded DW twice and cooked tea. 
Today being shopping, spent nectar points so only £2.41 in real money, making pizzas now, also "put the world to rights" with both older DDs. More important than flying. Must find time to do the tax return and sea up the knitting, take care, mumtoomany.xx

So.. 8 plagued people.. not a cough or high temp to be seen, headaches have all gone... The girls are off until the 24th and climbing the walls already.. now while I don't want them to be unwell.. calmer would be nice.. I might not survive until the 24th!!!

I had a shower and demanded OH chopped my hair.. then nearly passed out because I had to stand still too long.. I cannot stand still at all.. I need to jiggle at least a little bit.

I have decluttered hair!! and an apple.. and now need actual food because I forgot to have dinner last night so now I am starving.

I can't even concentrate on my knitting!!! £850 to fix the guttering and stop the bird ingress.. but.. the guy said he would let me shoot the rat birds.... that rather makes it worth all the pennies... I do then have to wonder if letting me loose with any kind of projectile weapon is a responsible idea.

OH on a supply run.. for us.. and DD1, she ran out of nappies for Jazzles.

Question.. before I react totally irrationally.. if your daughter had bruised from their CF nipping her because she was ill in bed asleep and they wanted her to get up because they are too lazy to look after the children themselves and haven't even changed the baby's night-time nappy.. would you have words with said abusive P.O.S. even if your daughter said don't??

Tricky, Pigpen, but I can't say anything because I don't have kids myself. 

Three loads of laundry dangling outside to get the worst of the water out of it all so it can be tumbled when it's a bit drier.  Am I a total slattern leaving it out for over 48 hours or a green?  Probably both imho.

Five more minutes dusting, thinking I was doing an area that was okay already because I cover it fairly frequently, only to discover a massive, obviously very old cobweb.  I just don't see them.

A relatively tidy drawer sorted out, with only one item needing to be rehomed elsewhere and for once absolutely nothing to be thrown out.  A small victory.

Oh Pigpen that's such a tough one, my gut instinct says no, partly because you might make it worse for her.  But I have never been in that kind of situation and I definitely wouldnt be thinking rationally if I was her Mum.  I suppose you have to do what you think is right.

Thanks for the kind words about DS.  He says he isnt bothered about doing it all again, I suppose he has had so many horrible medical procedures in his life, and he wasnt particularly looking forward to going to the hospital anyway.  I am just hoping he doesnt back out now.  He is completely symptom free, and very bored.

ASB I am tired out too and not sleeping well.  This dark grey weather definitely isnt helping.  I came home early with a headache, I am not doing a test until tomorrow but I think its just a general feeling of being a bit overwhelmed with life at the moment.  Trying to be kind to myself.

Flying is very minimal here, just the basics will do for today.

Pigpen, difficult one, has it happened before? if yes, I would suggest it could be DV, if no, not, but I would suggest you talk to your daughter about what she is going to do about it, and let her know she has your full support. If it happens again, then I would be saying some thing. Get photos if possible.

Oh Piggers - I’m going against the grain maybe but I really would say something. I couldn’t not, I’d always wonder what if, especially if something else and god forbid something worse happens. Your DD deserves better, so so much better. Trust your gut; you are a wonderful mother with lots of experience so trust those instincts and protect your Cubs xxx

Kaz - I am with you. I’ve written to my MP I am absolutely furious. If he survives this there really is something wrong x

Piggers I'm with ASB.  She knows it's unacceptable - you know too and I wish someone had told my 1st ex OH that his behaviour was unacceptable and controlling.  I hope someone has now because he is a parent.
