Blech to overdrafts, I second checking for 0% cards. Somehow I did better at managing a separate thing down than I ever did at trying to get a minus balance back up. Which I know is the same amount overall but, psychology!

But lols to the screams of the Ukr Mum - she's a real city girl thensavingholmes said:Ouch re the overdraft. Do you qualify for any money transfer CCs or even 0% spending CCs so you can get out of O/D which tends to be worse rates?

Marking has started. We are both at it. Two jobs each and four adults in the house but somehow we still cook and tidy up with no help.5

House rules needed.... No eating without help around the house.
I know it can be hard. DS was good at helping. DD was too much effort. We did manage to get her and DS to do their own washing though which was something at least. Giving them something they can control can be an option or a night of the week where it's their job to cook / prepare food... Would something like that work?
Overdraft fees are from hell. Can you get a 0% spending car or balance transfer to alleviate pressure. You have a lot going on currently.

I am still kicking myself about boilers. We bought a fancy V@illant one when we moved in, cost c. £5,000. Boss had a similarly ancient boiler, got it free via a government scheme
My main thought was the environment, so it's not lost what a friend gets, eh?
